1) Bring a good sense of humor. Don’t ever take things personally, and try not to be too sensitive. Otherwise you’ll be miserable. Just let loose, have fun, and be willing to laugh.

2) If someone offends you, don’t blow up. Respond in a polite, mature way, point out what offended anda and why anda find it offensive. If it’s something serious atau happens to be one of the things forbidden in Rule 5, chances are people will back anda up and the problem will work out. If it isn’t, reread Rule 1.

3) Twi-hards, this isn’t a place to drool over Edward atau gush about how amazing the Twilight buku are. It’s fine if anda like doing that and we hold nothing against you, but please don’t do it here. Take it to a lebih appropriate spot and keep it there.

4) Twi-haters, this isn’t a hater atau anti spot. Don’t abuse it. Do not make personal attacks against Stephenie Meyer atau her fans, and don’t throw nasty atau immature insults at Twilight. This is supposed to be “Critical Analysis of Twilight”, not “Mindless Bashing of Twilight”.

5) Make sure the material anda menyerahkan stays true to the spirit of this spot. Whether it’s a soapbox, image, video, etc...please make sure it doesn’t have excessive language, scathingly cruel humor atau any other offensive content in it (like "sparkly vampire are faggots", "Stephenie Meyer is a [bleep]", "Twitards are mindless scum blah blah blah"...etc). When it comes to videos, no book burning atau other forms of Twilight carnage. If anda found a really good/funny video that happens to have something like that in it, don’t post it. Instead, just ask around and PM link to the people who want to see it. (If enough people say they want to see it, perhaps we could start a special forum thread with a warning atau something. But for now, let's not go there.)

NEW RULE:

6) If anda look at the forum, you’ll see there are two rant threads: one for Twilighters and one for anti-Twilighters. If anda want to vent your rage atau feel like you’ll explode if anda don’t get it out of your system, take it there and keep it there. Please use them wisely, put up a warning for each rant anda make so people will know what they’re getting into, and don’t ever stoop down to bad language atau personal attacks.

NOTE: These are the only two threads for that kind of stuff. Everywhere else is a “safe zone”. If anda go to either of the rant threads, be prepared. DO NOT venture in if anda can’t take the heat. The warnings are there for a reason. If the rants make anda mad, please don’t respond. Either PM the ranter atau vent it out in the appropriate thread (and if anda do the latter, don’t call out names atau point fingers at anyone). That way we can keep the carnage to a minimum.


And these are all the ones I can think of at the moment. If any of anda have any suggestions atau ideas on how to improve them, please talk! These rules and guidelines are to ensure that we keep the peace, prevent abuse of the spot and help everyone to enjoy their stay. The last thing we want to do is give fanpop a reason for taking us down.
