I live in Norway, and here pretty much everybody opens the gifts at 24th, in the evening. First we eat christmas dinner, then we relax a little bit, and then we open the gifts.
And between the dinner eating and the gift opening, I can't STAND to wait! :D

We do that in Scandinavia. It's really fun because my smaller cousins have waited all day and before we get presents on christmas eve we eat a lot and dance around the tree and around the house, so we will probably first be getting presents around 10 pm. Haha I love it because they are so impatient and can't even wait.

When I was younger I had to wait for my parents to come wake me up really early in the morning to let me know Santa had come (truth be known, I was awake. What kid sleeps on Christmas Eve?). But now that I'm an adult we keep the early morning tradition going and open presents by the light of the Christmas tree. It's beautiful.
