GAH BOTH!

i hate warren and i would luv for tara to come back but anya brought live to the show, i was so sad when she died :(

As much as I love a lot of the characters who died, part of me wants to say none, because I do believe all the deaths were important to the show.
Still, though I was initially interested in seeing Willow try to move on from Tara's death, if I brought back any it would be Tara, because Kennedy ruined Willow for me in s7. I also heard a rumour that the original plan was for Tara to be ressurected at the end of s7, so I'd have wanted that to happen. That would have really improved s7 for me, plus I really liked the Willow/Tara romance.
I loved Anya too, but unlike Tara I never really had the time to miss her, with her death being right at the end.

You said Buffy OR Angel, and Fred is the only one whose death seemed absolutely tragic. While several Buffyverse deaths were unfair, and I'd like to bring back several characters, the idea of Fred's entire SOUL being destroyed always got to me.

Also, I'd bring back Oz. Love his one-word humor.

or Fred. Both of their deaths were meaningless and random. Both were really sad :( If I could, I'd bring Anya back too cos she makes me laugh.

I loved pretty much all of them, and as much as I hated to see all of them die, I liked the story that came out of it and wouldn't want to change the story majorly.

Meh, screw that. I want Tara back. I hated when Anya died, it sucked a heck of a lot when Fred died, but I want Tara back the most. Evil Willow was great, but let's face it - Kennedy really doesn't/didn't work.

Fred had such a shitty life... please, this woman needs to live again... also Tara (most of all because I hate Kennedy... ¬¬)

Ok, I admit I didn't watch all of Angel and I don't really like it very much but even I could see that Fred's death was just horrible. I wasn't even that invested in the show/character and it pissed me off. It just didn't feel like her story was over and it was cruel and unusual to kill her off that way and replace her with Illyria. Which I'm not very fond of at all. Her death seemed so very much a deliberate choice to make fans cry as hard as humanly possible as opposed to a meaningful plot development. Maybe if the show had gone on after that season as Joss intended it to, the Illyria story-line would have been more fleshed out and become weightier but as it was that whole plot line fell totally flat for me. As it is, the whole thing seemed gratuitous.

Doyle's my favorite character, so I'm a bit bias. But Doyle never got the chance to really shine while all the others did. Doyle got 7 episodes...I think he should have gotten more

^^I agree. He was actually the only character that I really liked on Angel. He definitely should've gotten more epis.

And Anya and Tara. I didn't really like Fred on Angel but her death moved me, I was really down when she died.

Saddest death ever.

Also Tara, and Doyle (I like the comment about his presence stopping Cangel :P ). Fred was my favourite character in ATS though.
