Blake laid in his mossy tempat tidur in his sarang, den and slumped into sleep. It wasn't long again before he was woken up oleh his deputy. "What is it Butch?" he asked, blinking sleep from his eyes. "ThornClan are hunting on our territory," Butch answered, backing out of Blake's den. "What?" Blake asked, furious. "Stealing our prey?"
Butch nodded. Blake fallowed him out of the den, and Blake asked, "How do anda know?" "We found rabbit bones, and they reeked of ThornClan." Butch reported, flicking his tail angrily.

The days were getting colder, and finally leaf-fall came. The kittens enjoyed playing in and with the leaves. The flicked them in the air and swatted at them with their paws. They collected fallen leaves from the forest floor, and carried them into their dens so they had soft beds. They weren't very happy having to sleep in the same sarang, den though.

Brisky stared at the stars for a few moments, waiting for an answer. "They have left me," he muttered sadly to himself.

He eventually grew tired, and walked to his family's den. But then he stopped in his tracks. He probably wasn't wanted in there. Brisky heard faint voices coming from his den, and stalked to the corner of the entrance. He pricked his ears, listening to the sounds.

Blake woke up in shock. He had seen his mother in his dream again. It had been a week since he had that first dream about her. He got up and looked outside. It wasn't even morning yet. He decided to go back to sleep.

The selanjutnya morning, Blake sat upon the Highrock, and let out a sigh. Being leader was hard. He always had to give commands, and everyone came to him for help. But it was also great. He got to be the one in charge, and nobody could backtalk him. The best part about being the leader, is that he didn't have to hunt, and everyone respected him, even the ones older than him.

There was a small rustling in the woods. It stopped. Then it started again. He looked, and saw jeruk, orange fur.
