Echo, anda realize that you've broken the warrior code?" she turned away and sighed. "Alright, alright. I...guess I'll adopt them. How did anda even get pregnant in the first place?"
"Well...a couple of nights ago, Ravenflight told me we had always been lebih than friends. I had nodded, we hugged, and...well, the last part isn't important. But anda have to do this for me, Butterscotch, please..." Echo hung her head and slumped to the floor. "Please..."
"Why don't anda ask Snowbell atau something?" gula-gula yg terbuat dr gula merah dan mentega, butterscotch suggested.
"No," Echo was on the verge on crying.
"Why not?" her friend demanded, anger flashing in her dark green eyes.
"Because she'd tell Blake!" Echo was starting to get mad herself, she stood up again and lashed her tail from side to side. "If anda don't, I'll have to be banished from this Clan."
"Well it's your fault!" gula-gula yg terbuat dr gula merah dan mentega, butterscotch retorted, turning around to walk out the den. She sighed, and looked at Echo with sorrow in her eyes. "Fine. I'll do it."





As the night fell, and the sun left only an jeruk, orange glow barely above the horizon, Amy couldn't sleep. All her sleep thoughts were interrupted oleh thoughts of her hari tomorrow. She would be a warrior! And that means she could finally tell Brendon her true feelings. Warmness came over her as she saw her mentor come up to her.
"I'm no longer your mentor," he mewed. He chuckled a little and went on: "that means anda don't have to fallow me everywhere anymore."
Amy giggled. "I know that!" they touched noses in farewell and when Brendon left she curled up and tried to sleep again.


"Brendon," Amy called. It was after her ceremony and she walked up to her once mentor.
"Yes?" the white tom asked, turning to her.
"After all his time," she started. "I've grown attached to you...I...I cinta you."
Brendon looked surprised and stepped back. "Uh...I'm sorry, Amy, but I don't feel the same way."


Amy shot awake after that horrible dream. It was still dark out, but now she couldn't sleep. What if that did happen? What if he didn't feel the same way? Now she was scared to tell him. She got up, and walked outside the apprentice's den.
"Where are anda going?" a voice called from behind her. It was Brooke. "What do you want?" Amy growled.
"To know where you're going," Brooke retorted dryly.
"Go back to sleep." Amy hissed. "Stop asking questions!"
"Fine!" Brooke spat. "I'll leave Miss Priss alone."
Amy felt a growl rumble deep in her throat. She had never liked Brooke, and she wasn't starting to now.
After laying down oleh the oak pohon and curling up in the grass, she finally got to sleep again.




"May all kucing gabung here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" Blake called. He looked down at the gathering kucing and saw the newest kits of the Clan running up with huge, excited eyes. He scanned the clearing and beckoned Amy with his tail.
Once she bounded up he began: "FireClan, today a new warrior joins us." he looked at the apprentice's happy face, and looked down at his son. Brendon's face was proud, and he seemed to look like he had done the right thing. "She has trained hard to learn the way of the Warrior Code and is ready to leave the apprentice's sarang, den and gabung anda warriors in yours. Amy, from now on anda are no longer and apprentice, but a warrior. StarClan honors your courage." She jumped down and went to the other apprentices. She sneered at Brooke and joined her once-mentor.
Blake hopped down himself and went inside his own den.



After he first hunting patrol oleh herself, Amy was proud that she was a full warrior. She had wishes her old friends stayed in FireClan too, but they went back to ThornClan. She was sure they weren't even warriors yet.
Amy snickered. She was a warrior. And they weren't. atau were they? She hadn't noticed where she was until she smelled something familiar. It was FireClan scent! She looked around and noticed she was at the Whispering Cave. One of their warriors died here, she reminded herself. A shiver ran down her spine as she stepped inside and looked around. No one was there, but she felt the presence of another cat looming around.
A fierce growl came from behind the shadows, and a flame colored cat walked out. His bulu was very matted, and he had the salty smell of dried blood. His color was very dull, and his eyes looked pale and wordless.
His voice was lebih silent than a whisper: "Why are anda here? anda shouldn't have came here, anda could die."
"But...but who are you?" Amy asked, her voice shaking. The cat backed away into the shadow again. Amy blinked, and he disappeared. She couldn't help but letting out a scared wail. Could she of possibly just seen a ghost? A regular cats' bulu wouldn't look that pale...It was the ghost of the cat that died here! she gasped in thought. Turning around, she zipped out of the cave and ran back to camp.

"Brendon! Brendon!" Amy called. "You-" she stopped to cough and take a breath. Brendon came over and looked at her with pertanyaan glowing in his eyes. "What is it?" he asked, flicking his ears.
"I..." she shook the dust off her pelt and went on: "I saw a ghost! It was at the Whispering Cave-"
"The Whispering Cave?" Brendon stood up like there was an ambush. "Why were anda there?"
"I was walking thinking of...stuff, and I had only noticed when I stopped and looked around. It was weird, I felt like somebody else was there in the cave with me, but I was the only cat in there."
Brendon looked unconvinced, and he mewed, "is that it?"
"No!" Amy meowed. "No. There's much more. I saw a cat- a dull flame-colored cat. He came out and his eyes were blank, his bulu was ruffled, and his color was just so pale! He told me in a very quiet whisper that I shouldn't be there, cause I'd die. I blinked, and he was gone. Gone! Just like that."
Brendon's eyes flashed. "Dad! Dad, you'd better hear this." his father poked his head out of his sarang, den and trotted over. Before Blake could start talking, Brendon mumbled something. "I know who it is, he's warning anda to stay out so anda won't die like he did."


"What?" Blake seemed shocked at the story Amy had just told him. She nodded and meowed, "do anda have any idea who it was?"
"Yes, I do." Blake answered. "And I'm a bit scared myself. anda don't see StarClan warriors like that one. It's not normal." Blake shivered and ran for the Highrock. He jumped on top, and Amy walked with Brendon over.
"I need a brave patrol," their leader meowed. "Whoever isn't scared of a cat that didn't make it to StarClan...join here."
Everyone gasped. "What? A cat that didn't make it to StarClan? Really?" Brad had called.
"So who was it?" Brad's mate, Clicky mewed standing up for him.

Blake's eyes grew weary, and he managed to feeble out some words. "Brisky."
