Booth's thoughts trailed off as he continued to think over the situation. He had been planning this for months. Hell, maybe even years, sub-consciously. What he was about to ask her would change his life forever...Well, that's what he had been telling himself the past 4 hours. Her response, which could NOT be assumed, was what his cinta life depended on.
Booth sat at his desk, staring into space, while debating all the possibilities in his head. Finally, his cell rang. For a moment he just sat there, staring at it. It lay face-down so he couldn't see who it was, but for some reason he knew it wasn't her. On one hand, he was relieved oleh this, but on the other hand he truly wanted to just get it over with and talk to her. After 3 rings of staring at the phone his hand slowly stretched out to flip open the phone.
"Hello?"
"Booth?" berkata a deep, manly voice.
Booth let out a sigh. "Yes?"
"A body was found near a ski resort in Colorado. Looks like your going on a road trip."
"Erm, thanks sir. When am I leaving? Is Dr. Brennan coming?"
"'Course she is. I don't think anda can tell me how the guy died, if it was a guy, and with what. Anyways, you're leaving this afternoon. Start packing." And with that, the line went dead.
Booth slowly closed the phone. A road trip? With Bones? I mean, I don't even like road trips, but how am I supposed to go on one with the thought she might turn me down?
He thought for a few lebih seconds, then opened his cell phone once lebih to tell his partner the new.
