Booth was looking meneruskan, ke depan to this week with his son, Parker. It was the first time in a long while that he will have him for lebih than just a few days. Rebecca had planned to be gone for a week and had asked him to take Parker for the whole week during the school’s spring break. Booth took this opportunity to plan a fishing trip with his son and to take along his grandfather, Hank. He was going to take his son where his grandfather had taken him fishing as a boy. He even had rented the kabin they used to go to on the lake.
He knew that bones would be examining some ancient bones this week and that they had no cases to work on. He would miss her but she probably would not enjoy a fishing trip. Friday morning he picked up his grandfather from the nursing halaman awal and was going to take him to his apartment and then he was going to pick up Parker from school. But Hank asked if he could go visit Temperance, because he wanted to see her again.
Booth took him to visit bones at the Jeffersonian while he went to go get Parker. Hank gave Brennan a big hug on seeing her again and asked how everything was going. He berkata he was looking meneruskan, ke depan to this weeks visit with his grandson and great grandson. He asked. “Temperance, why are anda not coming with us? It would be so much fun if anda would come with Seeley and Parker. We are all going to the lake where I taught Seeley how to fish.”
“Hank, I had planned on examining some ancient remains that were found in Outer Mongolia and besides this is a trip that Booth has planned for anda and Parker.”
“Temperance, those old bones can wait and besides this is going to be a family outing and I would like anda to come. I know Seeley would like it too if anda came.”
“Hank I’m sure that Booth has plans for anda and Parker and would not want me to be in the way.”
“Temperance anda could never be in the way and I am positive that Seeley would cinta anda to come along.”
At that moment Booth came back in with Parker at his side.
“Granpops, dad says we are going to go fishing together.” Parker berkata as he ran to his great grandfather who was talking with Bones. Parker then turned to bones and asked. “Bones isn’t it going to be fun with all of us fishing together?”
“Parker, I don’t think bones would want to come because she has some old bones to look at.” Booth told his son.
“Parker, I would like to go fishing with anda and Hank, besides those old bones can wait.” bones answered.
“Really Bones, anda would like to go fishing with us?” Booth asked with an astonished look..
“Good then it is settled. Temperance is going with us.” Hank added.
“OK Bones, I’ll be at your place early tomorrow morning because it is a two jam drive to the lake. We will be coming back selanjutnya Saturday so plan on taking clothes for a week. Do anda have any fishing gear?”
“No Booth I don’t have any fishing equipment because I have never been fishing before.”
“That’s OK I have some extra poles that I can bring.”
The selanjutnya morning Booth pulled up to Brennan’s apartment and she was already waiting for them in front. As Booth loaded her bag in the back of the car, he asked if she had brought some warm clothes because it does get cold in the mountains at night.
On the drive, Hank was telling stories about how he would tampil Seeley and his brother Jared how to fish. He went on to say that it was Jared who seemed to always catch the biggest fish, but he knew that Jared would always take the biggest ikan that Seeley caught and throw it back into the lake. Seeley was always looking out for his little brother and never berkata a word.
bones asked. “What do we do with the ikan we catch?”
“Bones we eat them.” Booth answered, but before she could say another word he added. “I also picked up some tofu burgers and hotdogs along with fresh buah-buahan and vegetables for you. anda can throw your ikan back in the lake if anda catch anything.”
“Booth, thank you.” bones berkata with a look of appreciation because he knew she did not eat meat.
It seems that in no time at all they were pulling up in front of kabin oleh the lake. As Booth got out of the car he looked around because it had been some time since he had been here. He was just a boy then.
Hank got out of the car after Booth and said. “Shrimp it is exactly the way I remember it was. Let’s get everything inside and go check out the lake.”
“Pops anda go ahead and check out the lake with bones and Parker and I will unload the car.”
As Booth was putting things into the cabin, he looked around at the kabin and noted that it seemed smaller now. After everything was out of the car, he parked it in the shed and joined everyone at the lake front.
“Dad, can we go in the perahu and go fishing now?”
“Parker let’s make sure the perahu is aman, brankas because it doesn’t look like anyone has used it in awhile.” Booth answered.
After Booth made sure the perahu was safe, he loaded it with some fishing gear and put Parker in the boat. He then turned to Bones. She said. “You two go out first I’ll stay here with Hank in case the perahu sinks.”
As Booth took his son out onto the lake, Brennan and Hank went to the kabin and sat down in the chairs on the porch and watched them fish. Hank leaned over to Temperance and told her. “That is exactly how I used to do with Seeley and Jared. It is so good to see Seeley with Parker doing things as a father and son should be doing things. Seeley is a great father. Temperance I am glad anda came with us.”
“Thanks Hank, I’m glad anda asked me to come.”
After a few hours Booth rowed the perahu back to pantai and Parker came running to Hank and Brennan. He was all excited. His words came out so fast it was almost impossible to understand what he was saying.
“Granpops I caught a ikan and it was so big.”
“Where is it?” Hank asked
“He threw it back in because he berkata that bones would want him to.” Booth answered as he came up behind Parker.
“Parker that was wonderful what anda did for the fish.” bones said.
“Hey is everyone ready for grilled cheese sandwiches.” Hank asked.
They all berkata yes in unison as oleh now they were all hungry. Booth went to start the api in the fireplace while Brennan and Parker set up the meja and Hank was at the stove preparing dinner. As soon as everyone was satisfied, they all sat around the fireplace and roasted marshmallows. As the night wore on Parker was getting sleepy and Hank berkata that he also was getting tired and tomorrow is another day.
Hank grabbed his bag and Parker’s bag and headed for one of the two bedrooms saying “Hey Parker anda want the puncak, atas bunk?”
“Pops what about the other bedroom?”
“Oh that’s for anda and Temperance.”
“There is only one tempat tidur in there.” Booth berkata with a sheepish look.
“It’s a double bed, plenty of room for two people.”
“Wait a menit Pops.”
“NO anda wait. Each room should have two people.’
“Dad I want to sleep in the puncak, atas bunk.”
“Well bones can sleep in the bottom.” Booth interjected.
“There is no way that anda and I will fit into that double bed, Shrimp. We are both to big.” Hank added.
“Dad I want to sleep in the same room with Granpops. Besides boyfriends and girlfriends sleep together. That’s what Mommy says.”
“Parker, I’m not your father’s girlfriend.” bones stated.
“Bones aren’t anda and my dad friends?” Parker asked.
Booth looked at bones when she answered. “Well, yes.”
“And aren’t anda a girl and he’s a boy? Then anda are boyfriend and girlfriend.” Parker berkata as he headed to the bedroom.
Hank quickly followed Parker saying. “Good night anda two”
“Bones, anda take the tempat tidur I’ll sleep on the floor in here.”
“Booth, anda will throw your back out. We can share the bed. Besides we did it before in Las Vegas and again when we went undercover at the circus. anda must admire Parker’s deductive reasoning, it was very succinct.”
bones then grabbed her bag and headed for the bedroom. Booth followed her. That night Booth made sure that he kept his back to bones and slept near the edge of the tempat tidur so as not to crowd her.
The selanjutnya hari after breakfast, Hank took Parker out in the perahu while Booth was trying to tampil bones how to put the bait on the hook and then cast the line into the lake.
As she was attempting to cast her line, she tangled it first in a pohon overhead and then it got caught on a semak, bush behind her. On her third try she felt the hook catch on something and as she pulled she heard Booth yell. “Bones don’t yank.” She quickly turned and looked at Booth and saw that the hook was lodged in Booth’s butt.
bones dropped the fishing pole and came to Booths aide. She pulled the hook out and started to unzip his jeans.
“Bones what are anda doing?”
“Booth I just want to make sure that the hook did not pierce your skin because it could cause an infection.”
“Bones, Parker and Pops are right out there in the perahu and can see us.”
“Sorry Booth, I just want to make sure anda are all right.”
“It’s OK Let’s just go inside the house.”
Hank who was watching Booth and bones smiled as he saw Temperance trying to undo Seeley’s pants. He then watched the two of them go into the house and berkata to himself that he had better keep Parker out here until they come out of the house.
Inside the house, bones asked Booth to remove his pants so she could check.
“Really bones it is just a scratch. I’m fine.”
“Booth please let me put some antiseptic on it to be sure.”
“All right if it will make anda feel better.” He knew that there was no point in arguing with her. He then removed his pants and lay on the tempat tidur in his briefs face down so she could tend to the scratch.
bones pulled his briefs down a little until she saw where the hook had entered his buttock and she then applied alcohol to the area to clean it. She then applied iodine to the scratch and she could tell that it stung because of the way Booth’s gluteus maximus tightened. At that moment she could not restrain herself, she chided him oleh saying. “There anda go it wasn’t so bad was it?”
As if the sting of the iodine wasn’t enough, but to be talked to like a little kid. Booth then grabbed bones and pulled her onto the bed.
bones twisted out of his grasp, grabbed a blanket and threw it over Booth’s head and pushed him wrapped in the blanket off the bed. Booth hit the floor with a thud and laid there not moving. bones looked over the side of the tempat tidur and saw that Booth’s eyes were shut and he looked unconscious. She rushed to his side and cradled his head in her hands as she said. “Booth, can anda hear me.”
Booth let out a low moan and bones pulled him closer to her face. In a membagi, split detik he had his arms wrapped around her, rolled over and pinned her to the floor.
“Booth anda frightened me I thought anda were hurt.” bones berkata with a slight upset feeling in her voice.
Booth’s face was moving closer towards bones as he was saying “Bones, I have to tell you……Before he could finish the sentence, they heard Parker calling from the boat. They quickly disentangled themselves and Booth grabbed a pair of pants while bones threw the blanket on the bed. They then both rushed outside to see what Parker was yelling about. As they reached the pantai they saw Hank rowing the perahu back towards them and Parker was lifting a very large wriggling ikan on a hook.
When the perahu reached the pantai Parker ran to tampil them what he had caught. Booth took a look and said. “Parker that’s a pretty big ikan anda caught.”
“Yes, I just wanted anda and bones to see it before I put it back in the water.”
“You don’t want to eat it?” Booth asked.
“Oh no Dad, I don’t want to eat the fish. bones come with me to toss it back.”
As Parker and bones went to the lake to throw the ikan back in, Hank turned to Booth and asked. “What were anda and Temperance doing while we were in the boat?”
“Nothing Pops; I was just tampilkan her how to fish.”
“Inside the cabin?” Hank asked with raised eyebrows.
Booth was just going to explain when bones and Parker returned from the lake.
In order to change the subject, Booth asked. “Is everyone hungry?”
While Booth prepared the barbeque for the hamburgers, bones set the meja and Parker went to take a bath. Hank went in to check on Parker, but as he passed the bedroom he peeked inside and saw the tempat tidur a complete mess.
As the night wore on Hank berkata he and Parker were going to tempat tidur leaving Booth and bones alone. bones turned to Booth and berkata she was going to make the tempat tidur because it was a mess from the afternoon. Booth berkata he would clean up the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Hank and Parker were getting ready for tempat tidur when Hank berkata to Parker.
“Parker shouldn’t anda go and tell your dad and Temperance good night.”
“Yes and I’ll tell them how much fun I’m having, Granpops.”
Parker then went to Booth’s and Brennan’s room. He knocked on the door and asked if he could come in. bones was already in tempat tidur and his father was sitting on the edge of the bed.
“I just wanted to say good night and tell anda this is the best family vacation ever. Dad, maybe this summer we can all go on another vacation together.”
“Parker, I’ll have to ask your mother but maybe we can.” Booth answered.
“Oh that would be great you, me, bones and Grandpops all together.”
“Parker it’s time for anda to be in bed.” Booth berkata as he took his son back to his room. Booth made sure that Parker was well covered and he saw that Pops was sound asleep already before he went back to his room with Bones.
As he came into the room, he saw that bones had something on her mind. He asked “What are anda thinking about, Bones?”
“I was thinking about summer. Do anda think Rebecca will let anda have Parker for another vacation?”
“Well bones I have to ask her why?”
“Well if she agrees maybe we can take Parker someplace special.”
Booth looked at her and said. “Bones you’re enjoying this vacation aren’t you.”
“Yes Booth I am.” She answered as she snuggled down under the covers.
They woke up when they heard knocking on the door and Hank saying breakfast is getting cold and he and Parker are going outside. All of a sudden Parker rushes into the room to say good morning. He ran to his father, hugged him and berkata cinta anda and then he went to bones wrapped his arms around her neck, kissed her cheek and berkata cinta anda before he raced out the door again.
Booth glanced at bones and saw the look of astonishment. She turned to him and said. “Booth, did anda see. Parker gave me a ciuman and a hug.”
“Yes bones I saw.” Booth berkata as he laid back propped up on his pillow.
bones looked at Booth and saw him smiling at her. It was like he was telling her that this is what it is like having a child. That having a child is like having someone who will always cinta you.
“Booth I think we need to get up and gabung them outside.”
“OK Bones, anda go first to the bathroom and get dressed and I’ll get dressed in here.” He berkata that so she would leave the room and not notice that he was up already.
As they came out of the kabin they saw Hank and Parker fishing from the shore. They both walked over and as they came near, Hank berkata that Parker wanted to stay with Temperance today and that he and Seeley should go out in the perahu like old times.
Booth berkata sure it would be fun to ikan with Pops and he could see that bones liked the idea of spending time with Parker.
bones asked Parker what he wanted to do when they were alone on the shore.
Parker said. “Bones I wanted to ask anda if anda could help me with a school project that is due after the spring break.”
“Parker, wouldn’t anda want your father atau mother to help you?”
“Bones, daddy says anda are the smartest person he knows and that anda know everything. I need to do a good laporan because I want to make my dad proud of me.”
“Parker your father is very proud of you.”
“Yes, but I still would like your help, please.”
“All right, what is this laporan about?”
“Well I have to write it about my dad and what he does.”
Out in the perahu Hank was talking to Booth about how great it was that Temperance was spending time with Parker and that she would make a great wife and mother.
“Pops I know but bones does not believe in marriage and as to a child that is a long story.”
“Shrimp we have nothing but time out here.”
While they fished, Booth related the story of how bones wanted a baby and then changed her mind when he berkata he wanted to be involved.
Meanwhile on shore, bones and Parker were talking about Booth and what he does. Parker kept talking about how great it is to be with his dad and he wished that sometimes he could be with him all the time, but he knew that what he and bones did was very important. Together they worked on Parker’s laporan and bones was moved oleh how much Parker loved his dad. They also spent part of the hari exploring the area around the cabin.
That night after makan malam they all played twister. Hank was the one on the spinner and as soon as it was just Seeley and Temperance he made sure that they got all tangled up together.
As everyone was going to bed, Booth went outside to gather lebih firewood for the api because the nights were getting colder. When he came back into the kabin he checked on Parker and Hank to make sure that they were warm. He then went to his room with Bones. As Booth slid beneath the covers he thought of how much he loved this woman selanjutnya to him but she does not even suspect despite all of her intelligence.
bones meanwhile was thinking about her hari with Parker and how much fun it was exploring. She then felt Booth’s feet touch the back of her legs. She could hear his rhythmic breathing and it sounded like a soothing lullaby in her ears. Soon she herself was contentedly asleep.
The selanjutnya morning she woke to the sound of Parker and Hank in the kitchen. She was nestled selanjutnya to Booth who was still asleep. Everything was so perfect she did not want to get up and disturb this idyllic morning. She closed her eyes to embrace this pleasure she has never experienced before.
A few menit later she felt Booth starting to stir but she kept her eyes closed and let him think she was still asleep. She felt his body pindah quietly out of the tempat tidur and then she felt his lips ciuman her forehead as he berkata in a whisper. “Good morning beautiful, I cinta you.”
She could not believe her ears. Did Booth just say he loved me? No I must have misunderstood.
She stayed in tempat tidur for a few menit longer thinking about what to do next. She thought if Booth really loves me why hasn’t he berkata anything before atau maybe he had and I was not listening. Well he did say he loved me as his partner, maybe that’s what he meant.
Besides she and Booth were going out in the perahu together and she was determined to talk to him about something important. After spending time with Parker she had realized that she wanted to have a baby with Booth as the father and he should be involved.
Booth was rowing the perahu away from pantai and she could see Hank and Parker fishing on the shore, when she blurted out. “Booth I want to have your baby.”
Booth looked at her with an expression of being struck oleh a cement truck. He asked. “What did anda say? I thought I heard anda say anda want my baby.”
“That’s right. I have thought about it and I know now that I want to have a baby and I want anda to be the father, but this time I believe anda should be involved. I see how much Parker loves anda and what a good father anda are and I want that for my child as well. What do anda say?”
“Bones, are anda sure?”
“Booth, I have a number of valid particulars to support my decision. First I know that anda have will always be there for me and the baby. And detik anda will cinta the child as much as I will. These points in conjunction with your other valid attributes would be very beneficial for my child.”
Booth was just looking at her and watching her mouth move. He could not believe what he had just heard.
“Booth, say something.”
“Bones, so anda want to use my stuff to have a baby, but this time I can be involved as the father.”
“Yes”
“Bones let’s discuss this lebih later. I need to think about it.”
“What’s there to think about?”
“Bones being a parent is a big responsibility.”
“Booth don’t anda think I can be a good mother.”
“Bones anda will be a great mother and I know anda will cinta the child. I just want to make absolutely sure that this is what anda want.”
“Booth after spending time with anda and Parker, I have realized that I have something missing in my life.”
“All right bones if this is really what anda want and anda are absolutely sure about it.”
“Thank anda Booth.” bones berkata as she threw her arms around him in a hug.
Hank who was watching them from pantai had seen them talking and saw that the perahu almost overturned when Temperance hugged Seeley. He was sure that udang had finally berkata something to Temperance about how he loved her.
Booth rowed the perahu back to pantai because there was no way he could ikan right now and bones was too excited about the idea of having a baby she is not interested in fishing.
As they arrived back on shore, Hank saw that Seeley was in deep thought and that Temperance was extremely happy. He did not want to ask but he was curious as to what happened in the boat.
As they came near, Hank said. “How about an early dinner? As it is starting to get colder, udang and I will get some lebih firewood while Temperance anda promised to make your mac and cheese tonight.
While they gathered the wood, Hank could not help but ask what happened in the boat.
Booth looked at his Pops and explained that bones was back to wanting a baby. Pops asked. “Did anda tell her how anda feel about her?”
“Pops she doesn’t cinta me and if I tell her how I feel she will push me away.”
“Well udang I’m not going to interfere, but I think she needs to know.”
“Pops let me handle this, but thanks anyway.”
After makan malam Hank asked Temperance to gabung him on the porch to watch the sunset. Parker had gone to take his bath and Booth was cleaning the kitchen.
“Temperance anda and Seeley did not do much fishing today.”
“No but we had a good time out in the boat.”
Just then Booth came out of the kabin and asked. “What have anda too been talking about?”
“Nothing in particular udang we were just enjoying the sunset. Sit down I’ll go check on Parker and make sure he is in bed.”
“Thanks Pops.” Booth sat down selanjutnya to bones and they just looked at the setting sun over the lake.
bones was remembering what Angela had berkata to her once about enjoying a beautiful sunset with someone anda love. She looked at Booth and then the sunset and noticed that this was the most spectacular sunset she has ever seen.
As the sun went below the horizon, the night air was getting chilly. bones shivered a little and Booth put his arm around her to keep her warm.
“I think we had better go in before anda catch a cold, Bones.”
The selanjutnya day, Parker wanted to do lebih exploring with bones while Booth and Hank fished from the shore.
While they walked Parker was telling bones about how all his friends had brothers and sisters and that he would like someday to have a little brother. bones was a little surprised and didn’t see a branch in the path. She caught her ankle and fell down into a small creek. She tried to stand up but her ankle was badly sprained and she could not walk. Parker said. “Stay here bones I’ll go get my dad.”
As Parker ran to his dad, he was yelling. “Dad, bones is hurt. anda need to come right away.”
Booth quickly dropped his fishing gear and followed Parker to where bones was.. He lifted her off the ground and started to carry her back to the kabin when she insisted that he put her down. She tried to walk but the pain in her ankle was too much and she almost fell again. Booth quickly scooped her back into his arms before she could protest. Back at the cabin, Booth suggested that they go into town and have her ankle looked at to make sure it was not broken, but bones berkata it was not necessary as she knew that it was only a bad sprain and just needed to give it some rest.
After dinner, they all sat around and when it was time to go to bed. Booth carried bones into the bedroom and made sure she was comfortable. He even put his bantal under her ankle to ease the pain.
The selanjutnya morning, the swelling had gone down put her ankle was still a little sore so bones decided to just sit on the porch and rest her ankle. Hank berkata he would keep Temperance company while Parker and udang explored the woods.
Hank and Temperance were playing dominoes and enjoying each others company, when Hank asked Temperance if she ever thought of having children. She did not know that Booth had already told him that she wanted a baby and how she planned on getting pregnant.

“Yes but first anda must find a man who will make a good husband and father.”
“Oh I don’t want to get married. I just want to have a baby.”
Hank responded. “I guess I will never understand the younger generation. Everyone is too much in a hurry to notice things atau enjoy the experience of life. In my day, anda found the right person to love, marry and raise a family with.”
“Artificial insemination is very common today.” Temperance answered.
“I guess so but think about if the doctor makes a mistake. It has been known to happen, there was a lady in England who gave birth to twins and one was black and the other was white. It seems that the doctor had used the wrong sperm. atau what about that doctor who used his own on his patients and not what the women expected. Just give me the old fashion way of making bayi that way there can be no mistake who is the father.”
“Hank I’m sure those are unusual cases. Besides I have already picked out the father for my child.”
“Oh anda have.”
“Yes, the father of my baby is going to be ………………” Just as she was going to tell Hank that Booth is going to be the father, Parker and Booth came back to the cabin.
That night bones was having a very restless night of sleep. She kept tossing and turning. She was even muttering in her sleep.
The selanjutnya morning Booth asked her about it. “Bones what was bothering you? anda kept tossing all night.”
“Oh I just had a bad dream but nothing to worry about.” She answered. She didn’t want to tell Booth that she had a bad dream about having a child.
That hari they all took turns fishing in the perahu as it was their last hari at the lake. bones finally caught a fish. She could not believe it nor could Booth.
As everyone was settling in for the night, bones kept thinking about what Hank had berkata about what if she is diberikan the wrong sperm and it is not Booth’s baby but someone else. That night she dreamt that she had been diberikan Howard Epps’ sperm and it was his child. In her dream she was crying out for Booth and hitting her doctor.
She woke up when she felt Booth’s arms encircling her and hearing Booth’s voice trying to calm her down.
“Bones what’s wrong you’re screaming in your sleep.”
“Booth it was such a terrible dream.” They both were sitting up now.
“What was it?”
“I was dreaming I was having someone else’s baby and not yours.”
“Bones, how could there be a mistake like that. They have my stuff and everything will be all right.”
“Booth, maybe Hank is right.”
“What are anda talking about?”
“He berkata that the only way anda can be certain that anda are getting the right semen is oleh making a baby the old fashioned way.”
“Bones, what are anda saying?”
“Booth, it’s about having sexual intercourse.”
“Bones, it’s not just about having sex. It should be about making love.”
Booth could feel her starting to pull away from him when he berkata love. He did not want to let her go but did not know what else to do so he released her from his embrace. She slowly turned her back to him as she lay back down on the bed. Before his head reached his bantal he saw her shoulders shudder. He placed his hand on her shoulder and gently turned her around so he could see her face. What he saw were very moist eyes, eyes that were on the verge of tears.
“Bones talk to me.”
“Booth I know anda berkata anda loved me as your partner, but …….” She hesitated in what she wanted to say. She was afraid that Booth did not cinta her any other way and if she told him she loved him he would leave as others have done in the past. As she looked at Booth’s face, she remembered what Hank had berkata about not being afraid.
“Booth I don’t know if anda could cinta me other than as a partner, but I have to tell anda I cinta anda not as a partner but as a man. A man I want to be the father of my children.” bones watched Booth’s face as she berkata this. She was waiting to see what would be the response.
Booth could not believe his ears. bones just berkata she loved him as a man and she wanted his children. Booth released his hand from her shoulder and moved it to her chin. He tilted her head to look at him in the face while he said. “Bones I cinta anda and I want to be with anda the rest of my life.”
Slowly both their faces moved closer and as their lips touched they both knew how much they loved each other. As the night wore on, they consummated that cinta several times over.
That night in the other bedroom, Hank awoke where he heard Temperance cry out. He lay there listening to the muffled voices in the selanjutnya room. He could not hear what they were saying but he was hoping that udang would finally tell her that he loved her and that she would not be afraid of telling him she loved him. He had known for some time how much they loved each other. Finally the voices stopped, and then he heard the sound that put a smile on his old face. The rhythmic groan of that old tempat tidur was musik to his ears.

Booth just gave him a quizzical look. Hank ignored him as he went to talk with Temperance.
“Temperance how was the fishing vacation?”
“Hank I want to thank anda for everything.”
“All I did was inviting anda to come along.”
“That and that anda told me not to be afraid.”
“By the way about the baby you’re planning on having, anda never did say who was going to be the father.”
“Hank I think anda already know.”
At that point Parker came running up from the lake. He was excited on tampilkan something to Temperance.
“Bones look does this look like an arrowhead?”
“Yes it does Parker.”
Parker then ran to tampil his dad.
As they got ready to finally leave, Booth took one quick look around to make sure they had not left anything behind. He saw that Parker and Pops were already in the car. He saw bones looking out over the lake. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. “What are anda thinking Bones?”
“Booth I was thinking about how my life would have been had I never met anda and how sad and empty it would be.”
Booth pulled her closer to him and berkata “Come on bones let’s go home.”
He knew that bones would be examining some ancient bones this week and that they had no cases to work on. He would miss her but she probably would not enjoy a fishing trip. Friday morning he picked up his grandfather from the nursing halaman awal and was going to take him to his apartment and then he was going to pick up Parker from school. But Hank asked if he could go visit Temperance, because he wanted to see her again.
Booth took him to visit bones at the Jeffersonian while he went to go get Parker. Hank gave Brennan a big hug on seeing her again and asked how everything was going. He berkata he was looking meneruskan, ke depan to this weeks visit with his grandson and great grandson. He asked. “Temperance, why are anda not coming with us? It would be so much fun if anda would come with Seeley and Parker. We are all going to the lake where I taught Seeley how to fish.”
“Hank, I had planned on examining some ancient remains that were found in Outer Mongolia and besides this is a trip that Booth has planned for anda and Parker.”
“Temperance, those old bones can wait and besides this is going to be a family outing and I would like anda to come. I know Seeley would like it too if anda came.”
“Hank I’m sure that Booth has plans for anda and Parker and would not want me to be in the way.”
“Temperance anda could never be in the way and I am positive that Seeley would cinta anda to come along.”
At that moment Booth came back in with Parker at his side.
“Granpops, dad says we are going to go fishing together.” Parker berkata as he ran to his great grandfather who was talking with Bones. Parker then turned to bones and asked. “Bones isn’t it going to be fun with all of us fishing together?”
“Parker, I don’t think bones would want to come because she has some old bones to look at.” Booth told his son.
“Parker, I would like to go fishing with anda and Hank, besides those old bones can wait.” bones answered.
“Really Bones, anda would like to go fishing with us?” Booth asked with an astonished look..
“Good then it is settled. Temperance is going with us.” Hank added.
“OK Bones, I’ll be at your place early tomorrow morning because it is a two jam drive to the lake. We will be coming back selanjutnya Saturday so plan on taking clothes for a week. Do anda have any fishing gear?”
“No Booth I don’t have any fishing equipment because I have never been fishing before.”
“That’s OK I have some extra poles that I can bring.”
The selanjutnya morning Booth pulled up to Brennan’s apartment and she was already waiting for them in front. As Booth loaded her bag in the back of the car, he asked if she had brought some warm clothes because it does get cold in the mountains at night.
On the drive, Hank was telling stories about how he would tampil Seeley and his brother Jared how to fish. He went on to say that it was Jared who seemed to always catch the biggest fish, but he knew that Jared would always take the biggest ikan that Seeley caught and throw it back into the lake. Seeley was always looking out for his little brother and never berkata a word.
bones asked. “What do we do with the ikan we catch?”
“Bones we eat them.” Booth answered, but before she could say another word he added. “I also picked up some tofu burgers and hotdogs along with fresh buah-buahan and vegetables for you. anda can throw your ikan back in the lake if anda catch anything.”
“Booth, thank you.” bones berkata with a look of appreciation because he knew she did not eat meat.
It seems that in no time at all they were pulling up in front of kabin oleh the lake. As Booth got out of the car he looked around because it had been some time since he had been here. He was just a boy then.
Hank got out of the car after Booth and said. “Shrimp it is exactly the way I remember it was. Let’s get everything inside and go check out the lake.”
“Pops anda go ahead and check out the lake with bones and Parker and I will unload the car.”
As Booth was putting things into the cabin, he looked around at the kabin and noted that it seemed smaller now. After everything was out of the car, he parked it in the shed and joined everyone at the lake front.
“Dad, can we go in the perahu and go fishing now?”
“Parker let’s make sure the perahu is aman, brankas because it doesn’t look like anyone has used it in awhile.” Booth answered.
After Booth made sure the perahu was safe, he loaded it with some fishing gear and put Parker in the boat. He then turned to Bones. She said. “You two go out first I’ll stay here with Hank in case the perahu sinks.”
As Booth took his son out onto the lake, Brennan and Hank went to the kabin and sat down in the chairs on the porch and watched them fish. Hank leaned over to Temperance and told her. “That is exactly how I used to do with Seeley and Jared. It is so good to see Seeley with Parker doing things as a father and son should be doing things. Seeley is a great father. Temperance I am glad anda came with us.”
“Thanks Hank, I’m glad anda asked me to come.”
After a few hours Booth rowed the perahu back to pantai and Parker came running to Hank and Brennan. He was all excited. His words came out so fast it was almost impossible to understand what he was saying.
“Granpops I caught a ikan and it was so big.”
“Where is it?” Hank asked
“He threw it back in because he berkata that bones would want him to.” Booth answered as he came up behind Parker.
“Parker that was wonderful what anda did for the fish.” bones said.
“Hey is everyone ready for grilled cheese sandwiches.” Hank asked.
They all berkata yes in unison as oleh now they were all hungry. Booth went to start the api in the fireplace while Brennan and Parker set up the meja and Hank was at the stove preparing dinner. As soon as everyone was satisfied, they all sat around the fireplace and roasted marshmallows. As the night wore on Parker was getting sleepy and Hank berkata that he also was getting tired and tomorrow is another day.
Hank grabbed his bag and Parker’s bag and headed for one of the two bedrooms saying “Hey Parker anda want the puncak, atas bunk?”
“Pops what about the other bedroom?”
“Oh that’s for anda and Temperance.”
“There is only one tempat tidur in there.” Booth berkata with a sheepish look.
“It’s a double bed, plenty of room for two people.”
“Wait a menit Pops.”
“NO anda wait. Each room should have two people.’
“Dad I want to sleep in the puncak, atas bunk.”
“Well bones can sleep in the bottom.” Booth interjected.
“There is no way that anda and I will fit into that double bed, Shrimp. We are both to big.” Hank added.
“Dad I want to sleep in the same room with Granpops. Besides boyfriends and girlfriends sleep together. That’s what Mommy says.”
“Parker, I’m not your father’s girlfriend.” bones stated.
“Bones aren’t anda and my dad friends?” Parker asked.
Booth looked at bones when she answered. “Well, yes.”
“And aren’t anda a girl and he’s a boy? Then anda are boyfriend and girlfriend.” Parker berkata as he headed to the bedroom.
Hank quickly followed Parker saying. “Good night anda two”
“Bones, anda take the tempat tidur I’ll sleep on the floor in here.”
“Booth, anda will throw your back out. We can share the bed. Besides we did it before in Las Vegas and again when we went undercover at the circus. anda must admire Parker’s deductive reasoning, it was very succinct.”
bones then grabbed her bag and headed for the bedroom. Booth followed her. That night Booth made sure that he kept his back to bones and slept near the edge of the tempat tidur so as not to crowd her.
The selanjutnya hari after breakfast, Hank took Parker out in the perahu while Booth was trying to tampil bones how to put the bait on the hook and then cast the line into the lake.
As she was attempting to cast her line, she tangled it first in a pohon overhead and then it got caught on a semak, bush behind her. On her third try she felt the hook catch on something and as she pulled she heard Booth yell. “Bones don’t yank.” She quickly turned and looked at Booth and saw that the hook was lodged in Booth’s butt.
bones dropped the fishing pole and came to Booths aide. She pulled the hook out and started to unzip his jeans.
“Bones what are anda doing?”
“Booth I just want to make sure that the hook did not pierce your skin because it could cause an infection.”
“Bones, Parker and Pops are right out there in the perahu and can see us.”
“Sorry Booth, I just want to make sure anda are all right.”
“It’s OK Let’s just go inside the house.”
Hank who was watching Booth and bones smiled as he saw Temperance trying to undo Seeley’s pants. He then watched the two of them go into the house and berkata to himself that he had better keep Parker out here until they come out of the house.
Inside the house, bones asked Booth to remove his pants so she could check.
“Really bones it is just a scratch. I’m fine.”
“Booth please let me put some antiseptic on it to be sure.”
“All right if it will make anda feel better.” He knew that there was no point in arguing with her. He then removed his pants and lay on the tempat tidur in his briefs face down so she could tend to the scratch.
bones pulled his briefs down a little until she saw where the hook had entered his buttock and she then applied alcohol to the area to clean it. She then applied iodine to the scratch and she could tell that it stung because of the way Booth’s gluteus maximus tightened. At that moment she could not restrain herself, she chided him oleh saying. “There anda go it wasn’t so bad was it?”
As if the sting of the iodine wasn’t enough, but to be talked to like a little kid. Booth then grabbed bones and pulled her onto the bed.
bones twisted out of his grasp, grabbed a blanket and threw it over Booth’s head and pushed him wrapped in the blanket off the bed. Booth hit the floor with a thud and laid there not moving. bones looked over the side of the tempat tidur and saw that Booth’s eyes were shut and he looked unconscious. She rushed to his side and cradled his head in her hands as she said. “Booth, can anda hear me.”
Booth let out a low moan and bones pulled him closer to her face. In a membagi, split detik he had his arms wrapped around her, rolled over and pinned her to the floor.
“Booth anda frightened me I thought anda were hurt.” bones berkata with a slight upset feeling in her voice.

They quickly disentangled themselves and Booth grabbed a pair of pants while bones threw the blanket on the bed. They then both rushed outside to see what Parker was yelling about. As they reached the pantai they saw Hank rowing the perahu back towards them and Parker was lifting a very large wriggling ikan on a hook.
When the perahu reached the pantai Parker ran to tampil them what he had caught. Booth took a look and said. “Parker that’s a pretty big ikan anda caught.”
“Yes, I just wanted anda and bones to see it before I put it back in the water.”
“You don’t want to eat it?” Booth asked.
“Oh no Dad, I don’t want to eat the fish. bones come with me to toss it back.”
As Parker and bones went to the lake to throw the ikan back in, Hank turned to Booth and asked. “What were anda and Temperance doing while we were in the boat?”
“Nothing Pops; I was just tampilkan her how to fish.”
“Inside the cabin?” Hank asked with raised eyebrows.
Booth was just going to explain when bones and Parker returned from the lake.
In order to change the subject, Booth asked. “Is everyone hungry?”
While Booth prepared the barbeque for the hamburgers, bones set the meja and Parker went to take a bath. Hank went in to check on Parker, but as he passed the bedroom he peeked inside and saw the tempat tidur a complete mess.
As the night wore on Hank berkata he and Parker were going to tempat tidur leaving Booth and bones alone. bones turned to Booth and berkata she was going to make the tempat tidur because it was a mess from the afternoon. Booth berkata he would clean up the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Hank and Parker were getting ready for tempat tidur when Hank berkata to Parker.
“Parker shouldn’t anda go and tell your dad and Temperance good night.”
“Yes and I’ll tell them how much fun I’m having, Granpops.”
Parker then went to Booth’s and Brennan’s room. He knocked on the door and asked if he could come in. bones was already in tempat tidur and his father was sitting on the edge of the bed.
“I just wanted to say good night and tell anda this is the best family vacation ever. Dad, maybe this summer we can all go on another vacation together.”
“Parker, I’ll have to ask your mother but maybe we can.” Booth answered.
“Oh that would be great you, me, bones and Grandpops all together.”
“Parker it’s time for anda to be in bed.” Booth berkata as he took his son back to his room. Booth made sure that Parker was well covered and he saw that Pops was sound asleep already before he went back to his room with Bones.
As he came into the room, he saw that bones had something on her mind. He asked “What are anda thinking about, Bones?”
“I was thinking about summer. Do anda think Rebecca will let anda have Parker for another vacation?”
“Well bones I have to ask her why?”
“Well if she agrees maybe we can take Parker someplace special.”
Booth looked at her and said. “Bones you’re enjoying this vacation aren’t you.”
“Yes Booth I am.” She answered as she snuggled down under the covers.
They woke up when they heard knocking on the door and Hank saying breakfast is getting cold and he and Parker are going outside. All of a sudden Parker rushes into the room to say good morning. He ran to his father, hugged him and berkata cinta anda and then he went to bones wrapped his arms around her neck, kissed her cheek and berkata cinta anda before he raced out the door again.
Booth glanced at bones and saw the look of astonishment. She turned to him and said. “Booth, did anda see. Parker gave me a ciuman and a hug.”
“Yes bones I saw.” Booth berkata as he laid back propped up on his pillow.
bones looked at Booth and saw him smiling at her. It was like he was telling her that this is what it is like having a child. That having a child is like having someone who will always cinta you.
“Booth I think we need to get up and gabung them outside.”
“OK Bones, anda go first to the bathroom and get dressed and I’ll get dressed in here.” He berkata that so she would leave the room and not notice that he was up already.
As they came out of the kabin they saw Hank and Parker fishing from the shore. They both walked over and as they came near, Hank berkata that Parker wanted to stay with Temperance today and that he and Seeley should go out in the perahu like old times.
Booth berkata sure it would be fun to ikan with Pops and he could see that bones liked the idea of spending time with Parker.
bones asked Parker what he wanted to do when they were alone on the shore.
Parker said. “Bones I wanted to ask anda if anda could help me with a school project that is due after the spring break.”
“Parker, wouldn’t anda want your father atau mother to help you?”
“Bones, daddy says anda are the smartest person he knows and that anda know everything. I need to do a good laporan because I want to make my dad proud of me.”
“Parker your father is very proud of you.”
“Yes, but I still would like your help, please.”
“All right, what is this laporan about?”
“Well I have to write it about my dad and what he does.”
Out in the perahu Hank was talking to Booth about how great it was that Temperance was spending time with Parker and that she would make a great wife and mother.
“Pops I know but bones does not believe in marriage and as to a child that is a long story.”
“Shrimp we have nothing but time out here.”
While they fished, Booth related the story of how bones wanted a baby and then changed her mind when he berkata he wanted to be involved.
Meanwhile on shore, bones and Parker were talking about Booth and what he does. Parker kept talking about how great it is to be with his dad and he wished that sometimes he could be with him all the time, but he knew that what he and bones did was very important. Together they worked on Parker’s laporan and bones was moved oleh how much Parker loved his dad. They also spent part of the hari exploring the area around the cabin.
That night after makan malam they all played twister. Hank was the one on the spinner and as soon as it was just Seeley and Temperance he made sure that they got all tangled up together.
As everyone was going to bed, Booth went outside to gather lebih firewood for the api because the nights were getting colder. When he came back into the kabin he checked on Parker and Hank to make sure that they were warm. He then went to his room with Bones. As Booth slid beneath the covers he thought of how much he loved this woman selanjutnya to him but she does not even suspect despite all of her intelligence.

She could not believe her ears. Did Booth just say he loved me? No I must have misunderstood.
She stayed in tempat tidur for a few menit longer thinking about what to do next. She thought if Booth really loves me why hasn’t he berkata anything before atau maybe he had and I was not listening. Well he did say he loved me as his partner, maybe that’s what he meant.
Besides she and Booth were going out in the perahu together and she was determined to talk to him about something important. After spending time with Parker she had realized that she wanted to have a baby with Booth as the father and he should be involved.
Booth was rowing the perahu away from pantai and she could see Hank and Parker fishing on the shore, when she blurted out. “Booth I want to have your baby.”
Booth looked at her with an expression of being struck oleh a cement truck. He asked. “What did anda say? I thought I heard anda say anda want my baby.”
“That’s right. I have thought about it and I know now that I want to have a baby and I want anda to be the father, but this time I believe anda should be involved. I see how much Parker loves anda and what a good father anda are and I want that for my child as well. What do anda say?”
“Bones, are anda sure?”
“Booth, I have a number of valid particulars to support my decision. First I know that anda have will always be there for me and the baby. And detik anda will cinta the child as much as I will. These points in conjunction with your other valid attributes would be very beneficial for my child.”
Booth was just looking at her and watching her mouth move. He could not believe what he had just heard.
“Booth, say something.”
“Bones, so anda want to use my stuff to have a baby, but this time I can be involved as the father.”
“Yes”
“Bones let’s discuss this lebih later. I need to think about it.”
“What’s there to think about?”
“Bones being a parent is a big responsibility.”
“Booth don’t anda think I can be a good mother.”
“Bones anda will be a great mother and I know anda will cinta the child. I just want to make absolutely sure that this is what anda want.”
“Booth after spending time with anda and Parker, I have realized that I have something missing in my life.”
“All right bones if this is really what anda want and anda are absolutely sure about it.”
“Thank anda Booth.” bones berkata as she threw her arms around him in a hug.
Hank who was watching them from pantai had seen them talking and saw that the perahu almost overturned when Temperance hugged Seeley. He was sure that udang had finally berkata something to Temperance about how he loved her.
Booth rowed the perahu back to pantai because there was no way he could ikan right now and bones was too excited about the idea of having a baby she is not interested in fishing.
As they arrived back on shore, Hank saw that Seeley was in deep thought and that Temperance was extremely happy. He did not want to ask but he was curious as to what happened in the boat.
As they came near, Hank said. “How about an early dinner? As it is starting to get colder, udang and I will get some lebih firewood while Temperance anda promised to make your mac and cheese tonight.
While they gathered the wood, Hank could not help but ask what happened in the boat.
Booth looked at his Pops and explained that bones was back to wanting a baby. Pops asked. “Did anda tell her how anda feel about her?”
“Pops she doesn’t cinta me and if I tell her how I feel she will push me away.”
“Well udang I’m not going to interfere, but I think she needs to know.”
“Pops let me handle this, but thanks anyway.”
After makan malam Hank asked Temperance to gabung him on the porch to watch the sunset. Parker had gone to take his bath and Booth was cleaning the kitchen.
“Temperance anda and Seeley did not do much fishing today.”
“No but we had a good time out in the boat.”
Just then Booth came out of the kabin and asked. “What have anda too been talking about?”
“Nothing in particular udang we were just enjoying the sunset. Sit down I’ll go check on Parker and make sure he is in bed.”
“Thanks Pops.” Booth sat down selanjutnya to bones and they just looked at the setting sun over the lake.
bones was remembering what Angela had berkata to her once about enjoying a beautiful sunset with someone anda love. She looked at Booth and then the sunset and noticed that this was the most spectacular sunset she has ever seen.
As the sun went below the horizon, the night air was getting chilly. bones shivered a little and Booth put his arm around her to keep her warm.
“I think we had better go in before anda catch a cold, Bones.”

Booth quickly dropped his fishing gear and followed Parker to where bones was.. He lifted her off the ground and started to carry her back to the kabin when she insisted that he put her down. She tried to walk but the pain in her ankle was too much and she almost fell again. Booth quickly scooped her back into his arms before she could protest. Back at the cabin, Booth suggested that they go into town and have her ankle looked at to make sure it was not broken, but bones berkata it was not necessary as she knew that it was only a bad sprain and just needed to give it some rest.
After dinner, they all sat around and when it was time to go to bed. Booth carried bones into the bedroom and made sure she was comfortable. He even put his bantal under her ankle to ease the pain.
The selanjutnya morning, the swelling had gone down put her ankle was still a little sore so bones decided to just sit on the porch and rest her ankle. Hank berkata he would keep Temperance company while Parker and udang explored the woods.
Hank and Temperance were playing dominoes and enjoying each others company, when Hank asked Temperance if she ever thought of having children. She did not know that Booth had already told him that she wanted a baby and how she planned on getting pregnant.

“Artificial insemination is very common today.” Temperance answered.
“I guess so but think about if the doctor makes a mistake. It has been known to happen, there was a lady in England who gave birth to twins and one was black and the other was white. It seems that the doctor had used the wrong sperm. atau what about that doctor who used his own on his patients and not what the women expected. Just give me the old fashion way of making bayi that way there can be no mistake who is the father.”
“Hank I’m sure those are unusual cases. Besides I have already picked out the father for my child.”
“Oh anda have.”
“Yes, the father of my baby is going to be ………………” Just as she was going to tell Hank that Booth is going to be the father, Parker and Booth came back to the cabin.
That night bones was having a very restless night of sleep. She kept tossing and turning. She was even muttering in her sleep.
The selanjutnya morning Booth asked her about it. “Bones what was bothering you? anda kept tossing all night.”
“Oh I just had a bad dream but nothing to worry about.” She answered. She didn’t want to tell Booth that she had a bad dream about having a child.
That hari they all took turns fishing in the perahu as it was their last hari at the lake. bones finally caught a fish. She could not believe it nor could Booth.
As everyone was settling in for the night, bones kept thinking about what Hank had berkata about what if she is diberikan the wrong sperm and it is not Booth’s baby but someone else. “What was it?”
“I was dreaming I was having someone else’s baby and not yours.”
“Bones, how could there be a mistake like that. They have my stuff and everything will be all right.”
“Booth, maybe Hank is right.”
“What are anda talking about?”
“He berkata that the only way anda can be certain that anda are getting the right semen is oleh making a baby the old fashioned way.”
“Bones, what are anda saying?”
“Booth, it’s about having sexual intercourse.”
“Bones, it’s not just about having sex. It should be about making love.”
Booth could feel her starting to pull away from him when he berkata love. He did not want to let her go but did not know what else to do so he released her from his embrace. She slowly turned her back to him as she lay back down on the bed. Before his head reached his bantal he saw her shoulders shudder. He placed his hand on her shoulder and gently turned her around so he could see her face. What he saw were very moist eyes, eyes that were on the verge of tears.
“Bones talk to me.”
“Booth I know anda berkata anda loved me as your partner, but …….” She hesitated in what she wanted to say. She was afraid that Booth did not cinta her any other way and if she told him she loved him he would leave as others have done in the past. As she looked at Booth’s face, she remembered what Hank had berkata about not being afraid.
“Booth I don’t know if anda could cinta me other than as a partner, but I have to tell anda I cinta anda not as a partner but as a man. A man I want to be the father of my children.” bones watched Booth’s face as she berkata this. She was waiting to see what would be the response.
Booth could not believe his ears. bones just berkata she loved him as a man and she wanted his children. Booth released his hand from her shoulder and moved it to her chin. He tilted her head to look at him in the face while he said. “Bones I cinta anda and I want to be with anda the rest of my life.”
Slowly both their faces moved closer and as their lips touched they both knew how much they loved each other. As the night wore on, they consummated that cinta several times over.
That night in the other bedroom, Hank awoke where he heard Temperance cry out. He lay there listening to the muffled voices in the selanjutnya room. He could not hear what they were saying but he was hoping that udang would finally tell her that he loved her and that she would not be afraid of telling him she loved him. “Hank I want to thank anda for everything.”
“All I did was inviting anda to come along.”
“That and that anda told me not to be afraid.”
“By the way about the baby you’re planning on having, anda never did say who was going to be the father.”
“Hank I think anda already know.”
At that point Parker came running up from the lake. He was excited on tampilkan something to Temperance.

As they got ready to finally leave, Booth took one quick look around to make sure they had not left anything behind. He saw that Parker and Pops were already in the car. He saw bones looking out over the lake. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. “What are anda thinking Bones?”
“Booth I was thinking about how my life would have been had I never met anda and how sad and empty it would be.”
Booth pulled her closer to him and berkata “Come on bones let’s go home.”
