Story of teen kid-
I was almost fifteen at the time, young, charismatic, energetic. Most of my friends were in cinta with MJ and at the time I had very little interest in the musik atau the personal life of Michael Jackson. I just me, a girl who went to school, got average atau above grades, came halaman awal and hung out with my family. Whenever I visited my friend Cassandra's house, there was always a new MJ poster atau drawing up in her room. She was constantly listening to the Thriller album and after one visit to her halaman awal I couldn't get Billie Jean out of my head. It was on that hari in spring when my Cassandra invited me over to watch Motown 25, the reunion, that I became a fan of MJ. We all sat on her couch, my older brother Andre, me, Cassandra, her siblings and her two cousins. Expecting to watch the most boring thing ever, I began to fake being bored. Cassandra shot me a glance and I sat up straight again. Her whole family were fan of MJ. I sighed with exasperation and looked at the T.V screen. After a few old Motown groups performed, MJ and the Jacksons came on. Everyone in the room started waving their hands in the air and bernyanyi Ill be there but I just sat back and smiled politely. After that performance MJ took center stage and berkata how much he liked performing with his brothers and the memories it brought back and then he berkata that one line that launched me into MICHAELMANIA: But most of all I like the new music. BAM! the beat started and I was into it, my eyes buldging my curls of hair standing on end. There he went throwing his hat like a frisby across the stage and sliding his hair back in a cool motion. Ahhhh! this is AMAZING! I thought. I was stunned, Frozen in the moment, cheering within myself. And then there it was : THE MOONWALK! gliding gracefully across the stage MJ with lifting his feet. WOW!!! how did he do that, I thought. Suddenly at that moment the whole room gasped and the audience on T.V cheered. After the perfomance we all talked about how amazing it was and whether our other firends at school had seen it. THEY SURE HAD! the selanjutnya morning in class, all the guys in my 10th grade homeroom were trying to moonwalk. mostly unsucessfully, execpt for one small kid, who could do it perfectly. Withing a week, kids were buying silver sequined gloves modeled after MJ's which he had worn onstage. For months all anda heard about was MJ did this, did anda hear him speak last night? I cinta him, he is so cute! hey, anda wanna come to my party on firday, we're gonna be playin THRILLER!!!! that's all it took to get people over. This mania lasted for about two years, but even after people were still crazy over MJ!!! i remained a fan, even at distance for years to come.
