19th century, the Victorian era. Tim burton berkata he did not want to make it too clear in the film, but as he berkata it is set "somewhat in the end of the victorian era“. In another version of Sweeney Todd, the action does take place in the 18th century ("The Tale of Sweeney Todd"), however, the legend of Sweeney Todd first appeared in the Victorian penny dreadful "String of Pearls", so I think the 19th century is lebih a good of an answer for you. ;) .. hope this was not too confusing, haha. lebih dari setahun yang lalu
