I might be wrong but he has more time becuse the way i see it he likes her looks first and the begins to fall in love with her after he saves her life, in other word he loves her for a longer time.

I agree, i do believe that Belle had to learn to love him in his physical form. I also love that fact that when he turned back to a human Belle kind of had to get used to him. It's funny what we get used to. Me personally, I would be demanding for him to be turned back to a beast. lol
