June of 2020 is a sad bulan for batman months. First, Dennis O'Neil passes away and now, Joel Schumacher has passed away, as well. Joel Schumacher was the director of two batman films. He directed 1995's batman Forever and 1997's batman and Robin. After batman and Robin came out, it became common to mock Joel Schumacher and make fun of him. I believe he didn't get the respect he deserved and I'd like to take a moment to reflect on what made Joel Schumacher a good director.

Believe it atau not, Tim burton wasn't a fan of comics. Although he did like batman and the Joker, he wasn't a superhero expert. He still managed to make two amazing batman films, but he was an unconventional choice. Joel Schumacher is a different story. He had grown up being a big fan of the batman comics, similar to how Adam West grew up membaca batman comics. Joel loved batman and when Warner Bros. decided they didn't want Tim burton to direct a third batman film, they went to Joel Schumacher. Joel was thrilled to be diberikan the job. A lot of batman fan seem to act like it's Joel's fault, that his two batman films are so lighthearted and comedic. However, the blame deserves to go to Warner Bros. Tim Burton's detik batman film, batman Returns, got good reviews, but caused controversy for being too inappropriate for Batman's younger fans. batman Returns had a toy-line at McDonald's and parents were upset about a highly-adult film being promoted as a film that kids could watch.

Joel Schumacher actually wanted to make a serious adaptation of Frank Miller's Batman: tahun One comic. However, Warner Bros. wanted a lighter, lebih kid-friendly version of Batman, in order to make lebih money and avoid causing controversy with parents. Joel did what the studio wanted him to do, oleh directing batman Forever. Joel purposely made a lebih colorful and lighthearted batman film. The gothic, menacing villains of the Tim burton films were replaced with Tommy Lee Jones' Two-Face and Jim Carrey's Riddler, who were very playful and silly. Tim Burton's murderous batman was replaced with a lebih traditional and heroic Batman, who convinces Robin to not kill Two-Face.

Although batman Forever didn't get good reviews, it made a lot of money. It had one of the biggest opening-weekends and Batman's younger fan seemed to enjoy the film. Due to batman Forever's success, Joel got to direct a detik batman film, which was called batman and Robin. Once again, Joel had a lebih upbeat and comedic batman film. In fact, batman and Robin is typically considered to be goofier and lebih kid-friendly than batman Forever. The villains became obsessed with puns, batman had a bat credit-card, Robin got his own signal in the sky, Bane became a simple-minded henchman and Mr. Freeze enjoyed bernyanyi songs from Christmas-themed cartoons. In other words, it was a campy film.

batman and Robin wasn't a money-making hit, which led to batman not having another live-action for over five years. Also, the film got terrible reviews. batman and Robin was considered to be the worst batman film and it's often considered to be one of the worst films, in general. Because of this, batman fan and movie-critics gave Joel a hard time, for the selanjutnya two decades. They acted like Joel ruined the franchise and some people jokingly called Joel the most evil batman villain.

An important thing, that the critics and fan seemed to not be aware of, was that Joel Schumacher was a great person. He was kind, easygoing, respectful and almost-always had nice things to say about the people he worked with (Val Kilmer and Tommy Lee Jones both gave the crew a hard time, while making batman Forever, so Joel, understandably, didn't get along with them). Joel has been very patient and calm, despite all the mean things people berkata about him. He even apologized for making batman and Robin and apologized to batman fans, for making a film they didn't like. It was never Joel's intention, to make films that the fan didn't like. He was just a hardworking and friendly guy, who had to deal with Warner Bros. pressuring him to make marketable batman films.

I've long thought that Joel and his batman films didn't get the respect they deserve. I'm not going to pretend that batman Forever and batman and Robin are the best batman films. However, they both have several elements I enjoy. Both films have a very unique and lovely-looking sense of style. Joel did a great job, when it came to directing the action scenes. In addition to that, both films are very entertaining blockbusters. batman Forever had the scene-stealing antics of Jim Carrey's Riddler, along with a wild Two-Face. batman and Robin has the delightful duo of Arnold Schwarzenegger's pun-loving Mr. Freeze and Uma Thurman's eloquent Poison Ivy. I often enjoy re-watching the films.

A lot of modern versions of batman have batman act out-of-character, oleh being an anti-social jerk and a murderer. Joel's batman films have a Batman, who actually respects the people around him and saves people. Instead of killing Mr. Freeze, batman reasons with him and helps Mr. Freeze save his wife. Joel's batman is an actual hero, unlike some other versions of Batman.

Overall, I believe Joel Schumacher was a good director and most importantly, a really kind person. Even if batman fan don't like his films, I believe they should respect what a kind and fair person he was. Joel's batman films played a big part in my childhood (I still have some batman and Robin stickers on the meja tulis, meja I'm currently using.) Thank you, Joel, for all that anda did for Batman. I miss you, already, but I don't plan on forgetting you. Rest well, old chum.
There are several batman films and there a few that can get pretty weird. The classic 1966 film is known for the absurdity of Shark-Repellent Bat Spray and the 1997 film, batman and Robin, is known for the ice-pun antics of Mr. Freeze. However, batman has had even weirder adventures.

Quite possibly the weirdest batman film and one of the weirdest superhero films, in general, came out in 1991 and was made in the Philippines. The film is called Alyas batman en Robin.

Alyas batman en Robin isn't necessarily an official batman film, because it's somewhat of a parody. Also, the film doesn't star...

”BATMAN BEGINS” (2005) Review

When Christopher Nolan’s reboot of the batman franchise first made its debut during the summer of 2005, many critics and moviegoers hailed it as the detik coming. They also viewed it as a vast improvement over the four films released between 1989 and 1997. Since then, ”BATMAN BEGINS” has been overshadowed oleh its 2008 sequel, ”THE DARK KNIGHT” and 2012's "THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS". After a baru saja viewing of the 2005 movie, I must admit that I have a deeper attachment for it.

”BATMAN BEGINS” was basically an origin tale about the scion of a wealthy...

Hi there! We are the Batman: Anarchy team, and we are looking to increase funding on our non-profit, original Dark Knight film. The film stands as a continuation to the amazingly successful and compelling Dark Knight Trilogy created oleh talented film director, Christopher Nolan.

THE STORY:

Batman: Anarchy is quite unique because it isn't just another Bruce Wayne story. Instead, we venture into the unknown, picking up where Nolan left off, with John Blake inheriting the Bat-cave and taking on the mantle of the caped crusader. Naturally, he won't be perfect at this as he lacks the discipline and...

Christopher Nolan’s third batman film will be called “The Dark Knight Rises” and though the Gotham City auteur isn’t ready to reveal the villain of his 2012 film, he did eliminate one of the big contenders: “It won’t be the Riddler,” Nolan berkata in an exclusive interview with Hero Complex.

Riddler rumors were off target. (DC Comics)
Nolan was most eager to talk about the fact that Warner Bros. had agreed with his argument that the film should resist the current 3-D craze and instead use high-definition approaches and IMAX cameras to strike out on a different cinematic path than the...

most people think batman sucks but he is not like that at all.he could take every dc and 3/4 of the marvels only not giant man, storm, captain America, and Thor.but some people would disagree but that's their opinion. And if anda read the comics anda would see he's been in way, way, way, waaay, worst situations.and would not simply lose without knocking out the other person first,or taking the person down with him.you would see many tricks he could use to win without a scratch.and I'm serous about it.plus his villains, allies, and weapons are way better and original.like in the present days tech.and soon to come. All i can say is read 1 batman comic and tell me he doesn't kick but.and many of his villains are very populer even if anda don't read comic's at all.like people know joker, penguin, catwoman, two face, and poison ivy.

p.s. batman adventures is a good comic serous to start with if anda decide to become a fan.

My knuckles tore upon as I banged the bricks for the umpteenth time. Sparks flew from the blood that is shed. I shouldn't have been there. It still makes me mad today as I look back. Why was I there? "LET ME OUT!!" I cried to the gaurds outside my thick cell walls. "I don't belong here!"

"Better aman, brankas than sorry." Came a very quiet, muffled voice from the other side. "You're a danger to us all, kid. Even if anda didn't mean to kill that cop, you're still guilty of doing it."

My chest ached from the deep bruises they'd give me as I pounded harder. I have to admit, they were smart enough to use bricks...

Help me clear this up. Please. Does everyone dislike Katie Holmes because...

a) all self-righteous
b) not true to the comic (my a** oleh the way)
c) in Dawson's Creek and who the heck didn't hate Joey in Dawson's Creek

d) "it's not who anda are underneath..." That was pretty stupid. And how she's all shaking her head while it's happening. Lame. I gotcha.

e) The Arkham Asylum scene where she's getting on Crane.

f) I honestly can't think of anything else. Maggie Gyllenhal's cute and everything but they wrote her lines all foolishly. And she drags Eckhart down. I'm telling anda kiddies that if Eckhart,...

My client the 3:10 to Yuma man himself would have loved to NOT flip out on McG's friends from the old neighborhood as they obstructed his view going about their business directives for McG was which was to close in on the shot so hard it gives us all headaches from how out-of-focus it is atau when it moves a bit and disappears from the screen completely and we can't follow it. Christian "Now That Boy Makes Some Good Films" Bale is about to have his career sidemarked for simply being polite 99% of the time about the fact that Legoland is remaking Terminator. And anda know who was there in the scene with Bale when he snapped on Shutter-Speed Boy? BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD!! Un-pregnant, re-vamped, just like our imaginations. Spider-Man 3 she got pregnant that's why she was dressed in harsh black with Nikes when they went to the heh-heh "jazz club". That girl could make anyone turn into a teenage boy trying to prove he's not a nice guy.
Who is my favorit comics writer of all time? That would be Bill Finger. Bill Finger is responsible for creating batman and his large selection of supporting characters and rogues. For decades, Bill went above and beyond in creating creative, colorful, unique adventures for Gotham's superhero to go on. To this day, Bill's batman stories remain amongst the most memorable and influential comics of all time.

In my opinion, Bill Finger deserves as much love, admiration and respect as people like Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. However, Bill never received that sort of treatment during his lifetime. In...
