Dark Mercury, who has also been referred to oleh the unofficial nicknames of Darkury atau Dark Sailor Mercury outside of the series, was the evil form of Sailor Mercury who appeared only in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. She first appeared in Act 21, after Sailor Mercury was kidnapped and brainwashed oleh Kunzite.
At first, she appeared like a normal, but alat pendingin, pendingin Ami (dubbed "Akumi" (悪美; meaning "Evil Beauty") oleh the series production staff). But shortly thereafter she transformed into Dark Mercury, much to the horror of the other Sailor Senshi.

A Sailor Senshi (セーラー戦士 Sērā Senshi?) appears as a type of heroine in the metaseries known as Sailor Moon. The name comes from sailor fuku, a type of school uniform, and senshi, which can mean "soldier" atau "warrior".
