OK my friend has a sister who's 10 years old, and she doesnt have any anime shows that are suitable for her. her sister only watches kids anime, and she doesnt know wht to do about tht.

So what exactly is the question? I presume anda are asking for some anime suggestions that suitable for her. If that's the case I'd be lebih than happy to make a few suggestions.

Hotarubi no Mori e - This one is a short film. 47minutes long roughly. It's really worth watching.
5 centimeters per detik - Another good film, also worth watching.
Grave of fireflies - Also a film, based on a true event that happened. A very heartfelt film, one of my favourites. (Studio Ghibli film)

She could also try the other Studio Ghibli anime films. They are good, and sound like they might be the types that she likes. link

I've made these suggestions based on two things. One: Little to no fan service. Two: Little violence. I can make lebih suggestions, but most have some form of violence in them. Of course, nothing serious, but your parents might still be against it.

Then I recommend your friend's sister to watch Prince of Tennis...it's full of sports and comedy....Besides that,it teaches anda how to be strong,play tennis,tennis facts,never give up and many more...!~

Ultra maniac is a good one! I cinta the komik jepang but the anime seemed too childish but I think she'll cinta it. the manga's for all ages too ;)

When I was 10 I was watching Digimon Frontier, Pokemon, and Yu Yu Hakusho (even though I'm a girl lol). Of course this was back when I though I was just watching really cool cartoons, I didn't know I was watching anime haha.

Here's a daftar of shows I wish I had been able to watched as a kid, but I'm glad I've watched them now. They are good for all ages:

+Shugo Chara! (Seems childish but has good story line)
+Kodocha (Also seems childish but really fun)
+Naruto (Fun adventure and story)
+Natsume Yuujinchou (Lovable characters, can have some action, I think she would have fun watching it)
+Ouran High School Host Club (Funny, cute)
+Black Cat (If she wants to watch something with some action)

The only ones that seem appropriate to a 10 tahun old to me are Fruits Basket and Shugo Chara. Besides that, I can't think of another anime that throws in naughty jokes, (like Ouran, although I like it) has plenty of battles including bloodshed, (popular shonen anime) atau have fanservice. (Haruhi S) These series only do it so rarely it's hardly noticible.
