How is yuri "gross"?

It isn't gross at all. BUT some ignorant people who don't accept other people's opinion's and insult yuri and then they use the argument that's it different. It isn't different at all. Just different sexes. It is a matter of opinion. Guys like to see two girls in tempat tidur just like a girl like to see to guys in bed. Which is all fine and what not but they should accept other people opinions. I'm a straight guy and I like yuri. BUT I have nothing against yaoi. In fact most of my friends on fanpop like yaoi and I have no problem with it. It's just those insane yaoi fangirls that are saying it's gross without giving a reasonable claim to back it up. NOW before I get flamed NOT all yaoi fangirls do this. ALOT of my friends who are yaoi fangirls don't bash my opinion I'm just talking about the insane ones.

Alright... well, let's see.

I, personally, don't favor yaoi, nor yuri. It's just a matter of opinion.

anda might think yuri is the bestest thing in the whole wide world!, but some people might think it's absolutley disgusting.

And to not start a war, yuri fan vs. yaoi fan vs. fan who don't give a fuck about yuri atau yaoi, just keep your yuri and yaoi pictures/videos/stories in the appropriate club.

And I know anda guys are gonna be like, "Well, there's no rule against posting it! It doesn't say we can't!" Well, it doesn't say anda can, either.

But whatever. I'm not here to start a war. >__>

Ok,I have to confess.I am a girl.But,I really like both yaoi and yuri.I say both them are great and should exist greatly.Right now,I'm for an anime that will have those to genres as one.Both them are beautiful.

Someone who understaaands!!! I like both yaoi & yuri and honestly I prefer yuri more. But just like guys like to see two girls in bed, girls like to see two guys in bed. Yesterday I saw a komentar on deviantART from a yaoi fangirl bashing on yuri. I dunno why. I see nothing different from yaoi except the genders. Yuri is just as cute and hot as yaoi can be. :3

And before someone goes all 'You're grouping us all in the same category, we're not all like that' I'll say that I know some yaoi fan that don't think yuri is ok, and some actually LIKE it. Therefore I'm not all bundling anda in a group. It's just most of anda can be very contradictory.

But back onto topic, I'm a girl and I don't watch yaoi at all. I don't hate yaoi atau anything...I just like girls more. It all depends on a gender preference I suppose.

I have another thought on the matter that I'm going to try to explain the best I can. Most yaoi fangirls think Yuri is gross because well they're a girl and I guess it makes them think of a girl that wants to ciuman them. Grr I can't explain it but here's another example, men do it ALL the time (most of them). They will hoot and cheer when they watch two girls ciuman but once they see two guys ciuman they call them "Fag" and other such names. anda see what I mean? It's kind of like they don't mind seeing the opposite gender doing it because they are attracted to the opposite gender rather than their own gender. atau if they're bisexual then I guess they like the opposite lebih than the same gender.

Well most fangirls say yuri is gross because their "stright." They see it as to gay girls having sex. Well thats mostly cuz i'm the same way. I don't like yuri but I like yaoi. yaoi is so cute to me its not all about to men having sex, but when I think about yuri i'm like ew.

Its mostly just opinions. I don't have a problem with yuri just let yuri stay in the yuri club and the yaoi sha'll do the same.

So it really depends on you. Stright girls are attracted to men so seeing to men ciuman is like a turn on I guess.(sorry can't really explain) And its the same with boys if they see to girls ciuman they like it. But when to boys ciuman they find it gross and call them gay.

well its all a matter of opinion. maybe yaoi fangirls just dont like the idea of yuri atau the fact that they are yaoi fangirls. some just go for one side and hate the other. maybe they feel uncomfortable watching two girls doing that kind of stuff. atau they dont htink its as "hot" as yaoi. but if a yuri and yaoi hater/dis-liker (like me) says they dont like it, it could be because personal things, they dont like it, atau other reasons.

i don't like it as i am straight and the idea of two girls fidding with each other(lol and other stuff) is gross to me, just like butt sex is gross to the straight male audiance is gross(though i have found a few....but i have a suspecian that they aren't fully straight.. just havent come out of the closet same with straight girls who like yuri) i think that it would affect the way anda ayunan to...anyways there is my opinion(sorry if it's too short)

I think both yuri and yaoi are gross because every yuri and yaoi pic I (accidentally) see are always about them having SEX!! Why sex?? People have sex privately! So why on earth people draw these kind of gambar and put it in public?? Them all naked, licking and stuff... EWWW!!! How can it NOT be gross? I would accept yaoi and yuri if it was normal... I mean sure, gays, lesbians, bisexuals are normal. But yaoi and yuri is an anime boyxbou and girlxgirl. And all of anda only draw them having sex! But if I find a picture of the 2 just kissing, hugging atau some other non-privet, romantic thing I really don't mind it.

Also I actually prefer yuri than yaoi. I really hate to see people making my fav anime guy gay when he's not!

Well... Yuri is typically aimed at guys. Girls usually just aren't attracted to watching two girl make out. I don't have anything against yuri, I just don't like it. I think it's fine if anda like yuri, I'm just a yaoi fangirl. Yes, if the matter arises on whether yuri atau yaoi is better, I tend to diss yuri. But I just find it gross. It's a matter of opinion, like so many others say. It just depends on what you're into, and certain things are gross to other people. For instance, I absolutely cinta supernatural anime. Yet, I find so many anime fan that only like animes like Lucky bintang atau Azumanga Daioh, where there's nothing supernatural involved at all. Nobody seems to flame them. I agree that yuri shouldn't be hated on, just like certain genres of anime aren't hated on. I hope anda get where I'm coming from.
