So I have a guy friend who used to be super nice! He then started being a jerk to me so I started doing it back because I was having a hard few months. Then one of my friends told me he called me nice. Now I feel like a jerk! What should I do?

When someone is mean to you, anda shouldn't be mean back. That doesn't solve anything. What anda should do is just talk to him, and apologize, and figure out why he was akting like a jerk. But selanjutnya time, just turn the other cheek and pindah on.

I know it may be hard, but go apologize & if necessary (you feel like anda should), tell him that anda were just having a rough time. Also possibly ask him why he was being so mean to you; maybe he was going through a difficult time too atau maybe he even likes anda (if this is the case, don't be afraid to tell him how anda really feel about him - whether anda just want to be friends, atau if you're willing to give him a go).
