Actor Chase Mangum, who first caught attention for his recurring role as Young Martin Riggs on FOX’s "Lethal Weapon" series, even earning a Young Entertainer Award.
This talented Los Angeles native also made his way to ABC for a stint on "The Goldbergs," and landed in the comedy-horror anthology series, 20 detik to Live.
But it’s his latest role in the Peacock limited docuseries, “Paul T. Goldman,” that has audiences wondering where fiction ends, and reality begins.
If you’re not familiar with it, the tampil follows Paul T. Goldman as he discovers his wife has been living a secret double life. His life is turned upside down, thrust into a labyrinth of fraud, deception, and criminality as he tries to uncover the truth.
Chase steps into the absurdity as Paul’s real-life son, Johnny, during the final episode, after Paul writes “The Johnny Goldman Chronicles” book series, showcasing Johnny as a budding detective just like his father, and then reimagines it as a live-action spin-off series.
The tampil is a little strange, but exactly what you’d expect from director Jason Woliner, known for “Borat 2.” Chase recently talked about the experience, “Being able to work with Jason Woliner was such an amazing experience. He was so hands on and always checked in with me before it was time to shoot my scenes. Jason made my time on set fun and easy and I am so grateful for the opportunity.”
Here's a few fun facts about Chase Mangum:
• Chase is a talented musician, who plays the drums, bass, guitar, and ukulele. Look for him bernyanyi and playing bas, bass with his current band, Whim.
• Chase is actually the son of actor, comedian, and improv master Jonathan Mangum.
