I don't mean any disrespect but the proposed flag - may it be the image you used or not - when you look close at it, the lines are a bit sloppy...

Shit, we gonna bring Taiwan vs mainland China politics onto here? I mean I love politics but even I won't touch that one with a ten-foot pole looool

For reference (and I don't really know much about it): Taiwan and mainland China have had some massive beef with each other for the past seven or so decades. Basically, mainland China's former government (the 'Republic of China' - ROC) lost to the Communist Party and fled to Taiwan in the 1940's, thereafter claiming that it still represented of the whole of China. The government of the People's Republic of China (PRC), of course, disagreed, and claims sovereignty over both regions. Basically they both claim to govern the same territory. It's really frickin complicated and that's all I know about the matter, but yeah, fun facts: that's why the mainland Chinese flag on this poll is 'PRC' and the Taiwan flag is 'ROC'.

Honestly don't much like the dragons because a flag shouldn't be that complicated. Both mainland China and Taiwan's flags are nice.

@ThePrincesTale Don't like it, don't vote then. This club's motto reads it's a club made for absolutely everything. This is not politics, this is just for fun. Only the Chinese people can vote for our new flag on a referendum, after the reunification. Are you a Chinese person? I don't think so! Most people who voted in this poll are also not even Chinese, just like you. If you don't like this poll, or this poll results, you can always report it. I'm a newbie on this site, but even I know that.

@ThePrincesTale Wait! What?! You said you don't like dragons. I'm a dragon, a Chinese Dragon, see? Does that mean you don't like me, too? Is it because I'm a Chinese Dragon, or just because I'm a dragon, or because I'm Chinese? I'm from Hong Kong, if you must know, but unlike most of the people in my city, I have a dream of one strong China. Just 1 China, not 2, or 3. Got it? Anyway, Taiwan is, imho, a perfect recipe for bringing a democracy to mainland China, right next to my own city of Hong Kong. Agreed?

@Riku114 You try finding the right size for all those Chinese flags then! This site probably resize them, after my upload was complete. I can't do anything about that. The pictures that I found are either too big, or too small to fit this poll. Anyway, why do I have to explain myself to you?? I'm still a newbie here. I'm only a couple of days on this site and this was my very first poll ever. I just hope it won't be the last. Besides, as I already told ThePrincesTale here, there's a report button right next to this poll, if you hate it so much, so, go ahead and report it. See if I care! Make your own poll about the new flag of one China, with better picture quality, if you can find them, or if this site doesn't resize them first to fit the poll.

You people and your silly complaints! You don't see a big picture here. It's all about one strong China, the future world superpower, not about poor picture quality, or your personal like or dislike for dragons. Dragon is a symbol of China for ages now, since the dawn of our culture, and I feel proud to be Chinese! On this site, I *AM* a ChineseDragon. Any objections?

@TheLefteris24 Thank you. Finally, some nice comment that makes sense. I'm glad you like the whole selection. Our Chinese people would have to chose our new flag from this list, right after the whole of China becomes one China at last.

@ChineseDragon Sorry for the misunderstanding! I meant the first bit of my comment purely as a joke but understand why I might not come across that way. I don't think this poll is political, and even if it was, I'd be the LAST person on this spot to complain about it ahaha. (every day I live in hope that someone brings up some classic politics banter, but it doesn't happen often so sometimes I can't help myself and do it alone loool). I don't hate this poll at all, it's actually cool.

So yeah I know it wasn't political, but I was just people giving background as to why one flag is the 'Republic of China' and why another is the 'The People's Republic of China', coz it's interesting.

I'm not anti-China at all. For the record, I think they actually cop unfair flak in Western media. I don't have much of an opinion of the China-Taiwan-Hong Kong issue because I don't know enough about it to take any sort of educated position.

Lol I love dragons, I'm just not a fan of them being on national flags because of a personal preference for flags being simple and geometric. This is coming from someone who thinks the Australian flag is shitty coz it's too complicated lol (also it has another country's flag on it... but that's a tale for another time). Side note, it's why I said I liked both the current PRC China and Taiwan flags - simple yet expressive. I like dragons in literally any other context.
