Major Spoilers Alert
Happy Halloweenish everyone!Today I’m going to review a very nostalgia halloween classic for me. That’s very unique to say the least, Caroline atau Coraline whichever one anda prefer to call it. So let’s get to it, starting with the story.

Story:
The story stars a certain blue haired girl named Coraline who isn't amused of her new life in Oregon. Then suddenly she comes across a mysterious, small door that opens to a whole new world. This other world is very much to fit what Coraline wishes her life to be like, but she is unaware of the dark secrets within the new world. There’s also a lot of other plot lines and arcs,Coraline’s main character arc,a lost twin thingy, the ghost children, the other world, something about a garden, witches, the door and just 100 lebih other plot lines that the movie decided to have. And I’m sorry, Caroline just couldn’t jiggle all of the little plots and arcs without at least dropping some atau leaving some things unexplained. For example we were told in the beginning of the film that Caroline was a water witch, which spoiler alert didn’t go anywhere. We weren’t even told what a water witch was.Now I’m really curious if this was in the novel since it was explained as if it was important to the plot. It’s even the thing that introduced us to the well, (a plot point in the story). Aside from that though, it was a pretty solid story. The ideas are creative and imaginative. The world is interesting, the fact that the world will unwind into a web without children’s souls is interesting and the button eyes are a unique idea with some real potential. Not that there aren't problems in it(I’m referring to the plot holes), but I liked the idea.I also cinta the atmosphere, the other world is whimsical in a kind of suspicious way, while the real world is lebih ordinary with a been there done that attitude and don’t get me started when the other world reveals its true warna it is terrifying and heart-racing. There wasn’t one moment that went oleh where the atmosphere wasn’t just perfect.Overall, it was a good story despite the plot holes, and I liked it the story was fairly neat and enjoyable.

Presentation:
Caroline is a 3D stop motion film. Meaning it was it’s own original art at the time and it looked amazing. It’s fluid, unique and memorable and the 3D was subtle. The stop motion looks perfect for the other world, and is a part of what made the atmosphere so memorable. The best part about it is how scary it looks mixed in with the animation. Not that the story itself wasn’t creepy, but it was made a lot lebih creeper oleh the imagery and the atmosphere it reflected. I was also very impressed with the soundtrack another thing that played a role into the atmosphere. The soundtrack was produced oleh a french award-winning composer, Bruno Coulais, which btw was perfect! It stood out and felt as creepy as the film itself. The scenery in the film was great! The dark tones and shadows that filled the screen when the story got dark to the bright and vivid warna when the other world was trying to be whimsical and the grayish and light designs and warna of the real world. The color choices really made a difference and really helped the designs of the other world really stand out.I wasn’t a big fan of the character designs, they were very awkward and didn’t really fit the real world that much. Not that they were bad to say,it was just a little disappointing.Again I do wish that the character designs were a bit better, but that’s just a little problem to an secara keseluruhan, keseluruhan pretty solid presentation.

Characters:
Let’s start with the judul character,Coraline. She is exactly what character I wanted for the premise. She can be selfish and greedy, but never too unlikable. She also has an interesting personality that fits with the mood and message of the story. She’s curious, ambitious, clever, caring, snarky, greedy, selfish, determined, and sometimes even rude.True she’s not the type of heroine to look up to, but that is what makes her a great fit. Most of her actions and how she was almost tricked into staying in the other world is in character,so it’s only natural to have a main character like Coraline. Having an insect pin on her is an interesting way to do your symbolism, but it’s fine, just fine...I guess maybe be lebih subtle selanjutnya time.Anyway let’s get to the labah-labah, laba-laba monster aka the Other Mother. Who is also a pretty memorable character can’t lie.Her plans do shoot themselves in the foot sometimes, though to be fair the plan oleh itself isn’t so bad, it just needs a back up.Her personality isn’t much to talk about, but I did feel threatened and uneasy everytime she’s on screen.Even when she’s not in her real form, there seems to be something unsettling about her.You also have the black cat who can talk in the other world because...magic?Anyway he is very similar to Coraline he enjoys being just as snarky and sarcastic as her, but knows when to stop and help in a serious situation, Though the difference between him and Coraline is that he acts lebih like a mentor to Coraline. Now let’s talk about the weakest characters of the film the side characters.Who would be Wybie, Forcible, Spink, Mel(Coraline’s real Mother), Charlie(Coraline’s real farther), and Bobinsky. All of them are annoying and forgettable, I know that’s the point, but seriously I would appreciate it if they didn’t just feel like plot devices. You also have the other father who is a pumpkin, yes anda heard me right a pumpkin. Not that I have a problem with the character himself, it’s just how silly it sounds and get this the other Miss Spink and Forcible are candy! I’m sorry, but why? Again the minions themselves are just fine,I’m just really questioning why it would be scary. I get why the other Bobinsky could be scary he is made out of rats, but how would a labu and permen be scary? Oh, well I guess because it relates back to halloween it makes it scary somehow? Okay moving on, the other Wybie is a teammate of Coraline’s and he helps her get out of the other world. I honestly don’t have much to say about him, I guess if anda build your minions to cinta your enemy it’s bound to backfire. Overall, most of the characters are decent, I just didn’t really like the side characters.

secara keseluruhan, keseluruhan Scores:
Story:9.8/10
Presentation: 8/10
Characters:6.2/10
Enjoyment:7/10
Ending Score:8.5/10
I’ve never played the first Gungrave game. Gungrave is a weird sort of property that came into existence as a video game first before getting adapted into a video game. Little did people know that it was actually based on a video game first and foremost before it was adapted into the strange anime that we see. Gungrave is a very smart and well made game about a man named Beyond the Grave who is brought back from the dead to exact revenge on his once best friend who betrayed him and took over the mafia with the help of aliens and works alongside an anime girl. But in Overdose, he works alongside...

Ho ho ho, everybody. Merry Christmas. It’s the final hari of the 25 Days of natal and boy, did I save a big stinker for last. Considered one of the worst games of all time on a technical level, Ride to Hell: Retribution was dead on arrival. No game in the modern age had got as much attention for being as much of a broken mess as Ride to Hell… except maybe Fallout 76. Published oleh Deep Silver and developed oleh Eutechnyx (Yeah, try pronouncing that one), Ride to Hell had bigger ambitions than what we got. It was planned to be an open world sandbox game set in the 70s, playing as a bigger...

So I have a vague memory of this game. I remember seeing this game in a Game Informer magazine (Yeah, remember fucking gaming magazines) when I was in elementary school. Alongside games like Resident Evil Revelations, atau I think, I don’t remember the exact issue, I saw this game on the side and how the reviewer thought it was the most boring game imaginable. So I avoided it for years up until now… and who boy, gaming journalism may be a joke now, but that guy was totally right. The game as developed oleh Vectorcell, known best for Yesus Christ Superstar on the IOS. I feel like I’m gonna...

Dragon Ball Z, a tampil from many people’s childhood, myself included. It was a tampil that had stylish animasi and art to it, insane battles, and a tampil where characters would die. In the 90s, this shit was hardcore. Dragon Ball Z has dwindled in popularity recently, still very much popular, but not as much as it once was, probably due to Super being… the worst fucking thing. Hey, speaking of the worst fucking thing, Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22. Why 22, we’ll get into that. Published oleh Infograms in America, but Bandai in Japan, the game was developed oleh Tose Software, who has made...

Ah yes, Jenga, the fun childhood pastime of playing with a set of wooden blocks, because someone was just that bored. I never played much of the board game when it was at its peak of popularity. I was lebih of a CandyLand kid. Aw yeah, coming up on the permen Cane Forest, motherfucker! But, I do understand the basic concept of the game, stacking bricks to make a tower and pulling them out and making sure it doesn’t topple over. What I don’t understand is making a full game for the Wii and selling it at full retail price. Who made this game and why would they make it. Oh wait, it’s an Atari...

Willy Wonka and the cokelat Factory was one of my favorit films as a kid. A classic film starring Gene Wilder filled with adventure and whimsy… We’re not talking about that one. The Tim burton remake, Charlie and the cokelat Factory, which felt lebih drab but at least the visuals were nice… also not what we’re talking about, technically. The video game, Charlie and the cokelat Factory for PS2, published oleh Warner Bros. Interactive, who now own the Mortal Kombat license. Weird, mentioning Mortal Kombat in each artikel thus far. The game was developed oleh High Voltage Software, who...

This is a movie I had no interest in seeing. I was worried having an entire film about Joker will kinda ruin the character.. But the fact the film is rated R does imply I'm probably wrong.

But after I saw Chris Stuckmann's spoiler review. There is a interesting thing he spoke about, that I want throw in my own 2 cents about.

Before this film was even released. There were 2 things that people were worried about. Sympathizing with Joker. And the violence on screen.

Firstly, Chris says this isn't even the most violent film he's seen. He actually states Deadpool is lebih violent than this movie. But...

Well, looks like a fun little holiday is right around the corner. That’s right, hari of the Dead. Halloween, that’s for children who go out and eat candy. But hari of the Dead, that’s a real man’s holiday. In all seriousness, I am far from being Mexican. I’m the whitest, pastiest motherfucker around. But I still really enjoy the skeleton designs and the history of hari of the Dead. And anda know what else I love? Masked wrestling, which is lebih commonly known as lucha libre. hari of the Dead and luchadores. It’s not a Lucha Underground game, everyone. It’s Guacamelee. The full edition,...

Other than horrible gaming journalists not understanding how indie games work, another thing people say is how unfair they can be. Cuphead is unfair because your character only has three hearts on them. Hotline Miami is too hard because enemies can kill anda in one hit. Slime Rancher is too hard because I can’t feed my Slimes in time. But there is a game out there that I can say with slight certainty that it can feel really unfair at times. A game so difficult that it already has me cursing before the game starts. A Bastard’s Tale.

A Bastard’s Tale follows a knight, I’m going to...

Oh man, first 2064, now we’re talking about this game. I feel like the moment I was honest about my sexuality I started to notice homosexual games lebih and more, not that I’m complaining. I can, however, complain about the possible seedy practices that happened behind the scenes of this game, as mentioned in NikPiks, but…. Don’t focus on that right now. Let’s just talk about the game itself, and see if it manages to be good on it’s own. Let us talk about Dream Daddy.

Now anda probably remember seeing this game all over the place a few years back. Every major let’s player was...

This review is going to be… a bit harder to talk about. So I bought a game called Revolution 1979: Black Friday, a game that is based on the actual Black Friday of 1979 where thousands of protestors were shot and killed for protesting against their ruler. It was the darkest moment during the Iranian Revolution but is practically never discussed outside of the country. That is where 1979 Revolution comes to discuss matters.

1979 Revolution follows the experience of Reza Shirazi as he is interrogated for information on his involvement with the revolution and his connections to the groups...

A few months ago, a friend of mine on DeviantArt asked me for saran on what makes an interesting villain, because she was menulis a Pokemon fanfiction. I told her my opinion, which gave me an idea. Not the "What makes a great villain" part, that's a topic for another day. I'm talking about the concept of humanity and what actually makes us human. People across history and the world have pondered this question, and I think I'll do my take on it.

For starters, many people have asked the question: Are we born evil, atau are we made evil? Personally, I think there's always a little evil inside...

Already, everyone, I’m gonna level with you. I haven’t been out of my house in three weeks. I haven’t seen the son, I only leave my room to eat atau use the bathroom, and I’ve been glued to my chair for so long that it has left a permanent mark of my ass. And why is it that I have been in such a horrid state? Because I’ve been playing nothing but Slime Rancher.

Where do I even begin to talk about a game such as this. This is a game that feels so well crafted and so perfectly made that anda can feel the developers cinta and care in it. They make update frequently for the game and...

Hello everyone and welcome to the selanjutnya half of In-Indie. I was able to binge a whole lot of new indie titles to get this out and boy, do we got some greats and some… not so much. But we’re here to talk about not just a great, but one of the best. A game that many online are calling the Dark Souls of the indie scene…. Wait, that’s not rig- Hollow Knight, everybody.

So yeah, this is a game that many would compare to Dark Souls and I would as well, but not for the reasons a subhuman, like, a video game journalist, would call this a Dark Souls game. Yes, the difficulty is there, which...

I am aware I am super late when it comes to talking about this movie, but I felt like that, now that I have analysed it, anal-ized it, and pretty much picked out everything about this film, I feel like now is the perfect time to discuss this film and see what it’s worth is. So with that being said, let’s talk about Spielberg

In the baru saja years, Steven Spielberg has been seen as an old coot who can’t make it with the times, hides all his bad menulis behind a ton of CGI, and just some guy who should probably retire with all of his money and gabung the ranks of washed up directors like...
