If anda watch American Horror Story- is it scary?

Okay..I'm probably going to watch the first and third season because I heard the detik is really scary (I'm a wimp) and the fourth has this creepy clown and I hate clowns so much hahaha. So,I know it's kinda dumb that I want to watch a tampil like this and I'm scared of this stuff,but I heard good stuff of this tampil and I cinta the relationship with ungu & Tate. So,how scary is it on a scale of 1-10? I'm not a fan of pop up horror either lol
