why do people talk/yell over each other when scared?

because i had a terrifying weekend with my sis & two of our friends when we had a sleepover last weekend. when we were scared N' all, we were talking & yelling over each other. why do people do that?

Because when anda get scared anda get worked up so much that anda don't really notice how loud you're being.^_^

Hmm, idk xD But the way I'm thinking about it, it could just be an evolutionary trait that yelling and flailing makes anda look lebih threatening. Like a dog barking is lebih scary than a dog cowering even if both anjing are scared :P So, if you're against something scary and threatening, yell and flail and the other animal might not take the chance to attack xD IDK....
