How are Rainbows Gay?

The bigger pertanyaan here would be "Why is gay such an insult?".

A pelangi is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the Sun shines onto droplets of moisture in the Earth's atmosphere. They take the form of a multicoloured arc, with red on the outer part of the arc and ungu on the inner section of the arc.

A pelangi spans a continuous spectrum of colours; the distinct bands are an artifact of human colour vision. The most commonly cited and remembered sequence, in English, is Newton's sevenfold red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and ungu (popularly memorized oleh mnemonics like Roy G. Biv). Rainbows can be caused oleh other forms of water than rain, including mist, spray, and dew.

I'm guessing that since the word "gay" used to be used as "happy", and rainbows are usually associated with happy things, it somehow morphed into the symbol for homosexuals. But it shouldn't be an insult, because
A) rainbows are incredible
and
b) gay people are too.

I have no idea, "Every pelangi I've seen in the world looks beautiful"!!! It could be a code atau symbol that the gay community picked up to tampil themselves!! But again I have no idea!!!

Well in biblical sense, the pelangi stood for the promise from God to never flood the Earth again.

How it became a symbol for gay pride today, I never figured out. Maybe because the warna in the pelangi are united, together across the sky, is why it was chosen. At least that's what I think so far.

probably because a male that wears anything with too much warna (rainbows etc..), they are considered to be "gay" (not in my opinion). So now some people say rainbows are gay..mostly guys..

Maybe, being too colorful is gay, because the gay pride flag is colofull.

Here in my country, if anda are a "colored guy/girl" anda are gay and mindless. This just started because of a band called Restart, which dress a lots of warna togheter... Here's a pic of them. In my opinion they are ridiculous not gay.
