Am I needy?

My boyfriend and I are freshman in college and we met about a bulan ago. Both of us are living in the dorms and basically had to start fresh as far as friends as we knew nobody. But since then we have both made friends and have basically combined the people we have met into one big giant group. This is fantastic, but the problem is, it seems that he wants to spend a lot lebih time in a big group than just me alone. I wish we had lebih alone time but am afraid to suggest it most of the time. I really don't mind hanging in a big group, but sometimes I want it to be just us. Is it unfair that I think this, atau do I have reasonable desires? And if I'm NOT just clingy, how do I tell him that I want to spend lebih time alone?
