Well it depends on how anda feel about the person and whether anda think he/she will care about your feelings atau whether anda think he/she still has feelings for you. But in the situation anda have described, anda probably should but I'm not sure what to say since anda stated 'THEN AGAIN THEY COULD CARELESS THAT anda LEFT' in your question...normally I'd say go ahead and tell them because most times when people cheat they don't realize how much they hurt the other person...so go for it....unless your jantung tells anda otherwise.
