Okay i need help i'm greatly confused!?!?!?!

It's about Gazel/Bryce.
I just started 2 watch IE but it was in the english sub. I then i found the english dub episodes on youtube & it was one of the episodes with Gazel in it. But in the english dub Gazel is a girl & not a boy like in the japanese version. It says that Gazel was protrayed as a girl cause of his feminine features. But r there any lebih reasons why?

But I think those who changed are kind of stupid cause in Season 3, Gazel joined FFI. And if they continued the dub till Season 3, they'll break the rules, because Women and men have different tournaments.
