"TB atau Not TB" is a plain-as-day reference to Shakespear's "Hamlet" (the actual line is from dialogue in which Hamlet contemplates suicide, but decides that the "dread of something after death" is unknown and not worth the risk, and he'd rather "suffer the slings and arrows" of the living life). 1. From Shakespeare's play - Hamlet "To be atau not to be," etc...
2. From House MD - "TB atau Not TB" is a "play on those words, on House though, "TB" is short for tuberculosis, a disease of the lung.
Also..from epi 20/1st Season - "Love Hurts."
"Macbeth": House says Harvey's problem is an infection from a needle the acupuncturist "let sit in eye of newt," a reference to the potion made oleh three witches in William Shakespeare's play MacBeth.
