Game of Thrones sets taking shape on the waterfront in Kaštel Gomilica 

showing that HBO’s crews have completely covered the red boards seen in earlier photos and have begun transforming some of the docks and waterfront buildings of Kaštel Gomilica.

With the announcement of Kaštel Gomilica as a new location for season five, what fans have been wondering is, is this our Braavos? With every new addition to the sets developing by the Kaštilac, it seems more and more likely. There’s now more decoration added to the area, in addition to the construction.

Update: We’re also hearing there’s going to be filming in Toome, Northern Ireland, at the beginning of September, around this set.

Looking like a sexy Braavos but I’m really gaggging for some stuff that gives us an inkling of whether so far missing characters are going to put in an appearance!

Yeah I wonder if we’ll even get Volantis. But I’m glad that what seems to be Braavos is shaping up! Arya’s Feast/Dance plot was one of my favorites from those two books. I love seeing the cultures of each city adapted to TV.

Whatever it is , i hope it’s not the Greyjoys,please don’t make me indure to watch those characters on screen after i had to put up with them in AFFC, it’s a wonder i even survived the experience .

I hope that all those boats will get moved away. Yes they could CGI them out, but I would rather they use the VFX budget on something else. The set/town looks great.

Sometimes I think they only include certain areas so they get to go to such beautiful locations!

Didn’t see the Toome one! Early days but I’m thinking the boat from Pentos to Volantis

Always fun to see how things take shape and then try to imagine the VFX filling in the scene! Then when the season comes I inevitably forget which parts are real and which are VFX anyway! XD

What am I supposed to see in the Toome set? Can’t see anything Hoping for Deepwood Motte

I would certainly hope the production staff is smart enough to drive a boat 20ft out of frame…

They will definitely do that. They’ll probably also add a few GOT boats too. When they start filming.
