The fanpop website has been around for quite a few years now- 3 years in fact, and whilst it is still relatively unknown compared to the likes of Myspace, facebook and the so-called phenomenon known as Twitter, it is still for me THE website that I pay a visit to on a regular basis.

Fanpop was formerly a small relatively unknown website, whose number of members have grown, bulan oleh month, tahun oleh year.

Well, I started using fanpop back in May 2007, and since then I see how the community keeps increasing in numbers which is great. I haven't been the most active user for a while now, but as I berkata somewhere else, I've always loved the site and therefore I come back every once in a while to spend some time fanpopping.

There is something I've noticed lately, that is obviously hard to control as the amount of users grows, but I thought I would point it out. What I noticed is a serious misunderstanding of the idea behind the "props" feature.

The concept of the prop is wonderful. fanpop is a user based site and users should have the ability to reward others for their hard work. I also agree with the idea behind prop Day. It should serve as a reminder to all users to give that reward. However, the prop system has become flawed. Very flawed. I happened upon a user profil and saw several props. So I was hanging out on my computer this evening, watching some video and browsing on Fanpop, when I noticed something that disturbed me. In not one, but two different spots. I discovered several examples of what I believe to be "Ghost Accounts".

"Ghost Accounts" are what I'm calling additional accounts created oleh an already existing fanpop member to skew the results of a pick atau an argument in their favor. I have read things diposting oleh other Fanpoppers suggesting their existence in the past, but hadn't knowingly spotted any for myself. Tonight I believe I spotted three different people doing...

Have anda noticed that people on this site add lots and lots of things and gain load's of fan then out of nowhere are never adding again atau only add now and then. Look through your fan daftar and see who is still adding and praise them for there loyalty and praise even lebih atau even prop them for their work, they all deserve it.

How To Make A good Pick On Fanpop!

Ok, I usually don't make user guides but this one needs to be made. I have seen a lot of picks and a lot of them are boring atau annoying. Here is a daftar of steps to help anda out.

1. Try to have lebih than three jawaban if possible. If the pertanyaan is "Who should Jim be with?" Put, Karen and Pam, and then put an answer like neither atau Katy.

2.Always have pictures for the pertanyaan if it isn't a yes, no, atau maybe question. Pictures bring in lebih fan and make the picks lebih interesting.

3. Try to ask pertanyaan that people haven't already asked and pertanyaan that people will be interested in. Don't make it boring.

Now these are the three golden steps to making a good, quality pick on fanpop. If anda feel I need to add anything, then please leave it in the comments.

I have a pet peeve.

As a writer, I have found my stuff diposting on other websites without my permission, and sometimes without so much as a mention that it was MY article... atau a link back to the original. This ticks me off, and it is illegal to do so.

I have not come across this on fanpop with artikel yet, but I have seen it numerous times on images.

Some of the people I adore the most are even doing it. I have to assume innocence here and figure some folks just don't know... so I'ma tell ya ;)

Credit. Credit. Credit. The option to add the foto credit when anda menyerahkan an image is there for a reason....

Ok, this is getting a tweee bit ridiculous. And before I start off, I know this has been discussed before, I'm just refreshing everybody's mind.
Yesterday, I was fanpoping. I come across the link spot- And went to videos. link is what I saw. There were apel, apple pie video there. diserahkan oleh Hulu.
link are some gambar oleh other fanpopers reporting this.

Hulu's video should NOT be done oleh a webcrawler. (or whatever anda call it) Dave, either have a manual team do hulu's videos, atau dont do it at all.

EDIT: as amazondebs says in the comments, fanpop isen't even getting paid for hulu's videos. What is the purpose of having them here?

I was never intending to do a follow-up artikel on fanpop-addiction. I just took it for granted that I had grown happily addicted and I would remain that way. I Hate anda Adobe!

Some of anda may not no this but if anda have a mac anda can only upload five gambar at one time onto fanpop.

Most of anda probably don't care because anda have a PC atau don't upload gambar that much.

It didn't really get on my nerves before, but now I want to upload heroes screencaps to the heroes spot which I have a die-hard medal in and I know PC users can upload much lebih than five gambar at a time; especially if they have a die hard medal in the spot they want to upload in.

I know anda can open loads of tabs but then again it is lebih work and annoying.

It's unfair on people who like to contribute anyway, so I hope there is some change in the image uploader for mac users.

P.S. If anda joke and say I should have a PC atau whatever, then very funny but no.

Okay, first of all I don't write these artikel but now I'm fed up! Can anyone please enlighten me because I am confused. What is the problem if I atau anybody else posts lebih links/videos/images than another fan? If I happen to be the one with the most links/videos/images atau whatever on fanpop that is because I like helping out the website. It doesn't make any sense for people to feel jealous atau attack me atau other people for posting lebih content than them. That is the most absurd reason to get angry. I am posting content mainly to help out the website but I also know that some people on here...
