Anyone inspired to make another banner?

Hey so.... why does it cost to vote?
Just curious.

While developing this election system, we were aware that people were concerned about cheating. By having it cost a little to vote, that helps keep it fair. Fans with a medal in a club get to vote for free!

When it comes to new banner elections, can only the club creator make the poll?

If not, does the winning banner automatically replace the current banner?

Like for example, clubs where the club owner is inactive or didn't make a banner in the first place...does it automatically change?

When a club is available for a banner election, the club creator can no longer change the banner. Users who have over 1,000 lifetime gold and a yellow medal or better in the club can start an election (the club creator has the ability to start an election also). On the club's home page, a button on the right column (near the top) will appear allowing users who are able to start the election to "Suggest a banner".

When the election is over, for now, while we work out the kinks, we will have admins made the image changes to the club. In the future, we hope to automate this, but we'll need some data to figure out the best way to automate it.

Can a club owner still just change the banner of their club whenever they want though? I like to do that to my clubs from time to time.

But yeah I'll give it time and see how it all works out.

This is just lovely.

Once a club permits artwork elections, then the club owner cannot change the images without going through the election process. We're still working on the final settings for which clubs have elections and which ones don't need them - no one seems to have started another club artwork election at this point, so maybe we made it too hard to find. :)

I'm seeing it as more of a use in big clubs and stuff then.
Cos smaller communities there is more control anyway, like we can just talk to each other about a new banner without formally electing it.
Just as long as that control over our smaller clubs isn't taken away.

Yep, our intention is to keep the status quo on smaller clubs.

Black, I only work with black or very very dark grey.

@michael: I'll post a banner I created a while ago ago but I never posted it [it was light blue], I'm just going to change its color, maybe someone likes it .
