As a rule, I wouldn't make a big deal about this, but it has been bothering me for a long time. I understand the importance of correct grammar, spelling, and the use of the proper punctuation, and what I am about to say has nothing to do with this. I also understand having an opinion that differs with another person, but when somebody makes a pick atau writes a komentar it takes time and effort to do so. What bothers me is when people leave mean komentar about how either their pertanyaan is stupid atau even how stupid the person is for making a pick. The reason we gabung spots and make picks is because we are trying to contribute to a spot and maybe even make someone smile with something we thought was cute and witty. It is very hurtful to then have those efforts put down and belittled because someone feels like leaving a derogatory remark. I guess what I am saying is that if anda don't like a pick someone made atau think their komentar is stupid then keep that opinion to yourself. It is ok to have a different opinion than another person but there is no reason to make disparaging remarks to other people. There are better ways to express your differing opinion then to put down someone's effort atau call them stupid. When anda leave cruel and cutting remarks then anda are the one who looks silly. So, if anda can't say something nice, then SHUT UP!

We're here because we like to join with other people who are fans of the things we are fans of. Of course, if someone makes a "johnminh sucks" fanspot and it gains 9847539873589 fans, my feelings might be hurt...

kathiria82 Even though I feel that when you put yourself out there things like that are going to happen but I still agree with you. I don't often make picks but on one pick I made someone left me rude comments. People have to learn how to use tact when they are trying to get their points across on here. Even though someone might criticize with the intention of helping, it often comes across as rude and makes people feel bad. So like Temptasia said, just don't comment if you don't like the pick.

benji See, I agree with this, but at the same time, I often feel bad because while I try to be nice, often I'm sarcastic in what I say and it may be misconstrued as me being mean. So this is me, saying here and now, I don't intend to be a dick if you've ever thought I was coming across as such :) One phrase is needed: use tact before you act!

tubby2002 I totally agree, it is just childish and mean to insult someone online, that you dont even know. I cant stand poeple like that and dont understand why people do it.

rookyboy I dont want to sound mean now but people who log on just to be mean and rude have nothing better to do, as there is no reason what so ever to say or be mean to any one ever. But this is a very good point that if you can't think of anything funny or nice to say jog on lol.

harold Here's a suggestion, which emilee suggested to me: if you have a problem with a particular link or other content on the site, either report it or send the user a message, rather than posting a comment to that effect. The reason for this is that, if you are persuasive and not just rude, the original poster will likely edit the content (if its anything other than a question/pick), and then you won't be stuck with your public comment that doesn't make sense anymore.

knifewrench I like that "tact before you act" thing that benji came up with :) I've heard more than one account of nasty happenings on fanpop but I have only seen one inpolite message about a scrubs video (AmyFitz quickly sorted that miserable git out, go you!)

kateliness2 I try and always be polite. I made my first pick not too long ago and someone actually put "Who cares??" as another choice. Its just not nice, people! Good article!

well thank God i found fanpop becuz before i did the last 3 months i was looking in google and searching for my fav Tv shows images.
till the hari i was looking for lost gambar and i found a site,i went there and it wannet me to have a username...i thought and i used:Melikhan then i came every day...don't know why!!!!!
The 1st person i talked was link and i talked to her and asked her that can i be your fan!!!!it's so bad that she left fanpop...she was a good person...she talked to me friendly and she was my 1st fan and friend!!!!
i started seeing fanpop....joining klub and doing stuff...my 1st...

Once again members of fanpop new crazes are coming here and the same things are being berkata and done over and over again and I really think it only needs to be berkata once atau not at all. Lets start with the list...
