Since they are always new users here, I thought that a guide would help if a guide to fanpop was created. So, without further a due, here we go!
GETTING STARTED
There are a few ways to get started here on Fanpop!
anda can meet friends, gabung a club, atau make contributions! All of these are very easy to do, but the best place for new users is to find a club. There is a cari bar on the puncak, atas of your screen. If anda can come up with a topic anda are a fan of, cari it and if there is a fan club for it, anda will see the link below the cari bar. Once anda get to the club, hit the green button at the top. Congratulations! anda have joined your first fan club!
YOUR PAGE
Everyone on fanpop has their very own profil page and it is easy to access your own. On the puncak, atas of your screen is a purple bar. Simply hit where it says "Profile" and anda will be taken to your page. There are four major areas here: Information, Images, Clubs, and Wall. When anda hit "Edit Profile", anda will have the ability to add things to the Information section things such as where anda live and your favorit things. On the gambar section anda will have access to add whatever pictures anda like, find, atau make. When anda upload a picture, it can become your user icon as well! To do this, check off "Make This My User Icon" and tada! anda now have an icon! The klub section is (obviously) a daftar of the fan klub anda are in. The dinding is where other people can stop oleh and tell anda something. Now let's discuss something very chatty.
CHAT
anda guessed it, the chat! This is a very easy place to meet people, iklan your clubs, and just talk! The chat is conveniently located in the corner of your screen (at least for me) so anda can talk while anda browse. There are two parts of chat: Contacts and Rooms. Contacts shows anda users that anda have friended (which anda do oleh hitting add to friend daftar on their page) and they have friended anda as well and are online. anda hit their username to chat, and it is just the two of you. Contact chat also informs anda when the other is typing atau goes offline. To send your message, hit enter. anda can hit the smiley face for emojis, but they will appear as text symbols until it is sent. Then there is Rooms. These consist of chat rooms which are easy to gabung and start. To gabung a chat room, hit its name. It won't tell anda when others are typing, but other than that, same rules apply. To start a chat room, type in its name into the bar and hit "Join Room". Now anda can discuss all kinds of things with other users and maybe make a friend atau two along the way!
MAKING CONTRIBUTIONS
Wanna make a difference on Fanpop? Here's how. make soma contributions to a club atau two. Find your favorit fan club and add something fitting. Photos, videos, polls, forums, articles, kuis questions, links, questions, and jawaban can be contributions. To add an image, save it to your computer and hit "Add Image" on the fan club anda want. For videos, do copy the link of a youtube video click on "Add Video", and paste it in. For both anda must add a title, and descriptions and kata kunci are optional. For articles, click on "Add Article". Where it says "Article Title", type in the judul of your article. Pick a kind of artikel and type it where it says "Article Body". Add a keterangan and kata kunci where it says so. gambar are optional, but available when anda click "Add Images". link are also very simple. Copy the link of your site, then paste it in once anda click "Add Link". For a forum, click on"Add Forum" once anda click the forum section of your fan club. Type in your judul and the first post. Hit the camera icon for photos. To add a poll, click "Add Polls", type in your two choices, hit "Add lebih Choices" for lebih choices to add and when anda type each choice, anda will have the option to add a picture for that choice. For quizzes, questions, and jawaban most of these same rules apply. For every contribution anda make, anda will get some gold, which we will now discuss.
GOLD
Like I said, anda usually get a piece of emas for every contribution anda make. anda can find a link to your own emas toko when anda click "Customize Profile" on your profile. The lebih contributions anda make, the lebih emas anda have and the lebih emas anda have, the lebih things anda can buy! emas is used to buy cool things for your profil and (I think) let anda vote in banner and icon polls.
