[i]i have to warn people that this will be a little negative about the new cinderella movie,i don't try to offend anybody[i]
I´m kind of tired to hear things like "ella is better that the original,she has lebih personality and is better developed"
While i have to agree that the prince and Lady Tremaine are lebih developed in the new film i just can't agree the same with cinderella
In the original film , cinderella was in Tremaine´s custody since she was a child and is berkata that her steptmother forced her to work for her when she was , like how, ten? nine?, she was a child there was nothing she could do, Running out of her home? she´ll end in the jalan, street , so as a servant at least she has something to eat
Ella was already a grown girl when her father died, and she just pushes herself into the servant treatment,she was old enougth to say "No" to Lady Tremaine,but she was just dump
Another thing,a minor but if anda look carefully cinderella put her foot down to Lucifer and Bruno , tampilkan that she still got toughness and don't let the cat eat the mice, and the cat reluctantly but does obey her the most of the time
Ella just ask Lucifer nicely to don't eat the mice (by the way; Why Jack was a female in the film? , doesn't change the plot a t all)
cinderella doesn't stay quiet after her stepsisters made fun of her when they recibed the invitation, she tells Tremaine that she has the rigth to go and she still part of the family
Before she found the dress the mice did for her,her steptmother tried to mook her about she don't going to the gaun (what she was exited to go) she just keeps a stoic face and say she won't go and good nigth , refusing to cry and seeing her family´s face laugthing at her
The scene when Drizella and anastasia rip her dress is devastating in the original film,she just lost the only thing she had from her mother and she breaks
She cry only this time and not for the dress,for everything, she gave the best of her and recived just bad treatement , the fairy goodmother showed up when she berkata that she don't belive in nothing anymore
She is not a whiny girl , she was finally letting all the pain she kept for herself for years , and was about to menyeberang, salib the line to deppression (hell, without her fairy goodmother she even could think about suicide)
Her "this is lebih than i could expect" breaks my jantung cause it´s so true
The new version just put the sisters ripping some pieces and ella crying (and is not really sad as she cries for everything)
But what makes me want to pull my hair is when she is locked
Original: cinderella realises she is in trouble (acting all lovey dovey about the prince, WAS an idiot pindah i have to admit)
she screams for help and the mice and birds are the real heroes,but she also thinks about they got bruno to get rid of Lucifer , points for trying
Ella: ella...SINGNING? SERIOUSLY?
She almost lost her change for sining and don't hear the mice , she just had to open a freaking window and she couldn't even do that
So,sorry for the bashing ,i´m not used to it
But last time someone calls Ella well rounded and better than Cinderella, i think they should see both film again
