Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the disney aladdin film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, melati does not represent Arab atau Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, melati is not a suitable role model for young girls.

1. melati is dressed like a Harem girl instead of a princess. A princess is the daughter of the king who no man is allowed to touch without the king's approval. A harem girl is one of the king's many mistresses. No king would dress his daughter like his mistress. No father would want to see his daughter dressed in that way.

2. melati is very impulsive to her detriment. She runs away from halaman awal which would never happen in reality as she knows she would've been raped and/or killed as a lone female running around, especially in that clothing.

3. melati does not choose her words wisely and therefore gets herself into lebih trouble. (Example: She says "At least one good thing will come of me being Queen, I'll have the power to get rid of you!" to Jafar. Now, someone who wasn't trying to stop her from getting to be queen has all of the incentive in the world to stop Jasmine. If melati had kept her mouth shut, she could've just became queen and actually got rid of Jafar instead of just talking about it.)

4. melati doesn't have enough self worth/value. As she says in Aladdin, "I am not a prize to be won." So she's just some trash to be thrown out? She completely looks at herself the wrong way. She IS a prize to be won and she gets to choose who gets to win. Instead of just being diberikan to someone, her preferences are actually playing a huge part. Most other princesses in the world and most other women in the middle east (Jasmine's culture) would not have had so many luxuries in choice of who to marry as melati did.

In addition, when melati first meets aladdin when he saves her in the marketplace, she immediately goes halaman awal with him. He is a stranger and she has no idea what he will do to her. She also knows aladdin is lying about what Abu says when aladdin pretends Abu "thinks it's awful" that melati "has to get married". In this moment, she goes to ciuman aladdin but the guards interrupt. No proper young lady would go back to a strange man's house and let him make his moves on you. If she had lebih self value, she wouldn't be offering her first ciuman to a acak jalan, street criminal that she doesn't even know if she should trust atau not yet.

5. melati is incredibly spoiled. Instead of recognizing how much better her life is than any other woman around her, melati refuses to acknowledge her blessings and instead is very spoiled and selfish in her wants for more. Nothing would ever be good enough for melati as her life is already better than everyone else around her yet she still complains. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of oleh a good man before he died and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether atau not they are worthy atau whether atau not she could cinta them when she wont even really meet them atau give them a chance? She'd be a much lebih pleasant and reasonable person if she at least gave them a chance but made no connection. The film makes it obvious that she doesn't even try to connect with them though.

6. melati is absolutely a tease and not just for her clothing. Having watched the film, it is easy to say that her clothes are chosen for her rather than chosen oleh her. This doesn't change the fact that she is so unpleasant in her personality that the most likely reason for her provocative clothing is so as not to scare off every potential suitor. Besides her clothing though, melati acts like a tease on her own accord. She teases aladdin on the balcony before berating him. (Refer to #6.)

7. melati is referred to as a "Shrew". A "shrew" is a person with violent temper and speech. This is not seen as becoming of a young woman. She should no better when to hold her tongue and when not to. She is also a prejudiced shrew, being awful to innocent people who don't deserve it. When aladdin compliments Jasmine, telling her that he thinks she is beautiful, her response is to tease and then berate him. She says "Hmm... Yes. I'm rich too. The daughter of a sultan. A fine prize for any prince." to which aladdin says "A prince like me." Hopeful that with his new status, he will finally be worthy of Jasmine's cinta and attention. He goes through a lot just to get to see her again and how does she respond? "A prince like anda and EVERY other peacock I've met. Just, go jump off a balcony!" What a shrew! This guy goes through all of this trouble just so he will be allowed to meet and talk to anda and all anda can say is for him to go kill himself? Over what? Being attracted to you?

8. melati is incredibly spoiled. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of oleh a good man and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether atau not they are worthy atau whether atau not she could cinta them when she wont even really meet them?

9. melati is prejudiced. She doesn't even want to give aladdin a chance just because now he is a prince even though he is the same guy? This proves that melati is not a generous atau kind person who takes people as they are but rather for what they represent. She didn't even care to know aladdin as Ali because of what he represented not who he was as a person.

10. melati is a hypocrite. In addition to her being rude to Ali just because he was a prince, she was still rude when she realized he was aladdin the whole time. When she tricked Ali into admitting that he was Aladdin, she got very upset and started yelling at him. She yelled at him because he lied about who he was even though she started the lying in the first place when she lied about being a princess. How could she get mad at aladdin for pretending to be something he's not when she did the exact same thing? Somehow it's right when she does it but wrong for anyone else? Exact definition of a hypocrite. Both aladdin and melati felt trapped oleh their positions in society and they both lied about who they were to discover another world they felt denied of. She had no leg to stand on whatsoever for getting mad at Aladdin.

Personally, this is all a shame to me because they pretended melati was an Arab princess but then they designed everything about her to be American atau an Arab harlot. This is not representative of her culture atau of a princess. [I personally would have loved to see her lebih true to character as I think Muslim/Arab women have a very unique grace and bravery that could have been shown.] I believe the reason that melati gets negatively portrayed in lots of "fan fiction" is because she is so much in conflict with her own culture and princess culture. It is hard for grown adults to take melati seriously as a role model for young girls when she is portrayed this way.

Had melati been portrayed lebih accurately, she would've been far lebih like Cinderella, Ariel atau Belle. She would've been braver, kinder and lebih modest. She would've had lebih grace and poise the way a princess should. The most accurate melati was portrayed in aladdin was in her purple royal engagement announcement dress. That is the melati who should be sold to the little girls. Not the spoiled, impulsive, shrew-like tease version of her.

NOTE: aladdin IS taken from "1001 Nights" atau "Arabian Nights". Princess melati is based on Princess Badroulbadour who is Chinese (not Arab) and described as being somewhat spoiled and vain.

The most beautiful princesses are my favorit princesses, Elsa and Anna. Third, there's Belle. This artikel is about ugly princesses. I'll rank them from least ugliest to ugliest.

4- Mulan
Mulan isn't that ugly, she just has thick eyebrows when she's a man. Mulan's eyes are so ugly without makeup. If mulan had stayed with make-up and long hair throughout the movie, she wouldn't be on this list.

3- Merida
The only thing I cinta about Merida is her long curly jeruk, orange hair. His face and eyes are very round.

2- Kida
Kida's hair is white and her bangs are crooked. Also, her bangs are rectangular, which...

10- Princess Mulan
Just being in the bottom of my list, doesn't make her VERY ugly. How can I say she is just... Less prettiest. I cinta her black hair and her eyes are pretty OK for me, but her eyebrows... They are very thick especially when she becomes a boy.
Also, her eyebrows are raised a lot higher than they should be, which makes her pretty ugly.

9- Princess Merida
I just adore the color and curve of her hair. But her face and eyes are too round. Especially her eyes. OMG, her eyes are like some strange balls. Her smile isn't ugly, but her teeth are very small.

8- Princess Esmeralda
She...

Hello disney Princess Fans!

First let me apologize for being so bit late getting the artikel up this time, and explain what happened. Along with the business of the holiday season there was a family emergency. In mid-January my Dad came down with Covid-19 and had to be hospitalized for over a week. Fortunately he's back halaman awal and doing better now. But as anda can imagine I didn't feel much like writing, nor did I have the time while that was going on.

Anyway, before we get started let me give anda a brief run down of the Meet the DP fan articles, in case anda happen to new to the club and/or unfamiliar...

She's gentle, kind, and clumsy and is brave enough to stand up to Clayton even when he has a gun -BB2010

I cinta how awkward yet interesting she is; I admire her bravery and empathy, and I like how she has a talent for drawing and curiosity for the jungle life. I cinta her relationship with Tarzan, one of my favorit disney couples; her desain is really pretty as well -WhiteLagoon13

Everything! She is smart, she is dedicated to her work, but I also cinta that her "damsel" moments are the result of her being in an unfamiliar situation, and that she learns to adjust to her new environment oleh the end of the movie. -Swanpride
1. Congrats on being fan of the Month! How does it feel?
Thank you!! I am very honored and I feel very excited because this is the first time I'm fan of the Month.

2. How did anda find this spot and what made anda stay?
I'm a big fan of anime, I remember watching “Fushigi Yuugi” at that time. I was obsessed with Tasuki. I still like him (but I don't get obsessed anymore, LOL). Anyway, I was looking for pictures and screenshots of him. That's how I found Fanpop. My reasons for staying? Because I like to participate in activities (polls, quizzes, answers), I made good friends, I cinta sharing...

Okay, as promised! Here is the comparison both the 1998 animated feature as well as the 2020 live action reboot. Ready?

The Story

So we start of with the Invasion of the Huns in the animated film, as well as reporting the invasion to the Emperor. We see mulan getting ready for the Matchmaker later on.
In the live action version, we see Mulan's childhood and even has a sister who is specially created for the film mainly for character developments. (tied)

The Characters

We get to see Mushu in the animated version, this is due to comic relief for the entire movie. He, Cri-Kee and Little Brother...

What I cinta the most about mulan is she's someone who was trained for battle but instead of depending on weapons to win the war, she uses strategy. It shows that anda don't always have to rely on brute strength atau weapons to win, anda can use your own brain. It really bums me out that people forget that about mulan and just remember her for learning how to fight. -BB2010

I cinta her bravery, perseverance and how she's willing to disguise as a man and go off to war to save her father. -LMH5113

I cinta Mulan's cinta for her family. She loved her family so much that she would risk her own life to save...

three fairy spells

and the wisdom of an old tree.

If anda ever want to establish a new international holiday, do it in September. I am serious, there are surprisingly few actual holidays in this bulan - but a lot of really weird ones. I was kind of tempted to mark "Talk like a Pirate Day" in the calendar for that reason alone, but soon I had two hot contenders. One was Heritage hari which would have most likely...

Five cursed friends,

In case anda haven't noticed yet, when I put this calendar together, my goal was to make it as international as possible..meaning, it wasn't supposed to feature the holidays of a specific country, it was supposed to feature holidays which are as widely as possible celebrated, atau at least well-known. I also tried to find holidays which could be in some way be related to a princess. Hence I picked Rapunzel for May.

Hi everyone, I got my laptop back and I had just watched Frozen II with Prasert. According to him, he berkata that it's even better than the first one, but he was disappointed that there were no bad guys in it! Anyway, here is my review on the film. Enjoy!

The Story

Okay, so we get to see lebih of Elsa's and Anna's parents and the origins of Elsa's ice power. In fact, when King Agnarr was young during the flashback. Prasert pointed out that he looks like Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon! I could not believe it.
The story is lebih dark in a contrast to the first one, because we get the Maleficent...

Hi guys, it's been ages since I had written my last artikel that I decided to write another comparison article. This time it is both anastasia and Cinderella, ready?

Anastasia

So, we all know about what happened to Anastasia. Upon watching this for the first time in many years, it was like anastasia became cinderella because she was like the lost princess that her beloved grandma is looking for, hence the ballet oleh Sergei Prokofiev was shown during the scene when they were in Paris, France.
The musik box plays a role in the movie, it is very similar with the glass slipper in Cinderella. Both...

Something I've often berkata in the past is one of the scariest type of villain is one that could exist in real life like Frollo, Bellweather, Lady Tremaine, and Mother Gothel. Gaston is definitely a villain that deserves to be on this list.

Some people will say he's too silly to be a scary villain atau just isn't scary enough until the climax of the movie. But some people who have had to deal with their own Gastons in life will say differently.

First off, it's made pretty clear from the beginning that Gaston is a bully who has most likely never been told "no" and therefore can never take it for...
