Putting Princesses in Hogwarts houses sounded first a little bit silly to me – the concept is not even Disney, after all. But I discovered that thinking about in which house they fit best is a good method to explore their characters. This has been done before a couple of times, but I’ll do it a little bit different. First of all, I’ll include the princes too. And second, I won’t stick to just one house with most of them – I’ll declare them as “pure” (meaning no other house is a possibility), “influenced” (meaning a treat of another house is very dominant in them) atau “torn” (meaning that they would fit in two houses). And, for the sake of clarity: Hufflepuff stands for hard-working and loyal, Ravenclaw for smart and knowledge-seeking, Slytherin for cunning and ambitious and Gryffindor for brave and bold. Let’s start with the Hufflepuffs.

Snow White: The Pure Hufflepuff

Yeah, I know, predictable, but really, is there another house for her? She is certainly no Slytherin, being all trusting and her only ambition is to get Grumpy to like her. While I don’t think that she is stupid, I wouldn’t call her particular smart either, neither does she seem to have a thirst for knowledge. And while I think that she is very brave, because, after the first boost of panic, she is able to better her situation oleh seeking out help at the right places, brave and bold are not the first things which come to my mind when I think about her. But she certainly is hard-working; not only that, she even enjoys it. And loyal – well, she is faithfully waiting for the prince. There is really no other house for her.

The Prince: The influenced Hufflepuff

Since he doesn’t have a lot of screen time, I can’t really tell which character traits he has atau has not – mostly. There are two which really stand out. One is his loyalty. Honestly, did anda pay attention how long Snow White was asleep? He searched for her for month! Which had to be hard work, so I think, Hufflepuff is a good bet for him. But why influenced? Because he is so damn nosy. Really, he hears some bernyanyi and climbs over a dinding without further ado. Thus, I consider him the knowledge-seeking Hufflepuff of the group.

Eric: The influenced Hufflepuff

This placement might surprise some, but think about it: He is basically loyal to a voice the whole movie, and in generally, he seems to be loyal to his men. He also seems to enjoy sailing, and on the ship, he proves to be a real hands-on man. And influenced – do I really have to explain this? – is he naturally oleh Gryffindor. He doesn’t strike me as particular ambitious atau cunning , as smart and knowledge-seeking neither, considering that he doesn’t really try to learn the story behind Ariel (he could ask her pertanyaan and she could sign yes and no, but he never does). But he is certainly a bold Hufflepuff – rescuing his dog, attacking Ursula under water, where he is clearly at disadvantage.

Shang: The torn Hufflepuff

On the first sight, Shang seems to be a pure Hufflepuff – he is honorable, works hard (on his body –yum!), is ready to die for his country – but that’s just one side of him. The other one is visible in the scene with his father. First of all, those two are strategizing, so he certainly has a sense for cunning. And second, he is really elated when he learns about his promotion, and already has big plans for his selanjutnya steps on his way to glory. Similar to Mulan, he has a great thirst to prove himself, especially in front of his father. Because of this, I see him as half Slytherin.

Tiana: The influenced Hufflepuff

Another predictable placement, considering all the time Tiana harps on about the value of hard work. And she certainly is loyal to his father and to the dream they shared. But she is also very, very ambitious, so ambitious that I would put her in Slytherin if not for the fact that she isn’t cunning at all. Her ability to read people and situations is feeble at best – in fact, she seems to miss out the most obvious clues at times. She doesn’t even pertanyaan why Naveen is supposedly human again, while she is still a frog, although it’s against the rule of the curse. So I stuck with calling her the most ambitious Hufflepuff ever.

I'm sure we all know how old most of the disney Princesses are since we get to know it from their movies, but some of them has a different age in their original and some aren't even mentioned, but this is mainly what other have said, but it's also my guessings on some of them. Anyways enjoy!

Snow White:
There has been many discussions on how old she is in the disney movie since it's never mentioned, but if anda didn't knew it already she's 14 in the disney version. In the original fairytale she's only 7 years old as most of us know, but did anda knew that in most of the newer versions of the classic...

Alright, this is going to contain critical and possibly controversial opinions about Frozen and Tangled, as well as other things, so if anda can't stand to hear these film badmouthed I'd suggest that anda skip this article. Now that you've been suitably warned, on with the article!

MARKETING

The first that anda see of new disney characters is almost always through promotional rendered images, so that's where we are going to start in this dissection of Disney's character design.

To begin, let's look at some of the earlier promotional art of Elsa and Anna:...

Recently, I saw a poling on this club about which House Rapunzel would be in at Hogwarts, which got me thinking about that pertanyaan in relation to all the princesses. I’m an avid Harry Potter fan, so I figured I would lend my unique insights on the matter to all of anda lovely people.

But before I begin my analyses, it’s time for some disclaimers!

1. About the Houses. Here’s how I tend to think of the Houses of Hogwarts. (Note: I will be saying the most about Slytherin, since Slytherin is most often distorted.)

Gryffindor: values bravery, daring, bold decision-making, rule-breaking, following...
