He's so smart and cunning~ He's a wonderful hero. He even sacrificed himself just to make the world a better place for his sister. Everyone hated him in the end but he didn't even care because he was able to bring the world peace. That is what I call a hero.
Also Ed...and well. All of these characters are wonderful protagonists ^ ^

Even though I love Nagisa more, Edward deserves to win. He's clearly the best anime hero ever created.

Too bad Eren didn't make it, I guess SnK is just too new. Well anyway PMMM is a amazing anime! I don't watch the other animes, but I still think Madoka is a great protagonist. She started off as a simple girl but is stronger than most people think she is.
