Feeling the bindings on her wrists, she found the material was rough and thick, but was also cold. It was rope, but not a normal rope. It was made of something like steel. She stared at her feet, puzzled, when a trapdoor opened and sunlight flooded her. Thank god I'm wearing sunglasses, she thought. But even still she winced away. She felt Dick nearly giggling at her, himself being encased in shadows. As a masculine figure walked up to the both of them, she pinched her brother, making him stop laughing instantly and instead wincing in pain.
"Glad to see anda two awake," someone said. It was a high voice, and clearly female. Kind of sugary sweet... it didn't belong to the figure in front of the two.
