Wally had to admit it; Robin was fast. The kid had gotten to his motorcycle and halfway to Gotham city before Wally did. Fortunately, Wally knew the way to Robin's house -ahem, mansion, ahem- and got there before the boy did. But Robin used the Batcave entrance. Therefore, he didn't need to menyeberang, salib paths with his former best friend. He stormed inside. On his way up to his room, he passed oleh the trusted butler.
“Good evening Master Robin.”
“I wish it were, Alfred. hey look, I'm not hungry so don't expect me for dinner. And if Wally shows up, DON'T let him in.”
“Very well sir.”
“Thanks.”
Robin headed off to his room. Once inside, he took off his mask and changed into sweats. Now he wasn't Robin, protege of Batman. He was Dick Grayson, ward of Bruce Wayne. He flopped onto his ginormous bed, feeling the softness membungkus, bungkus around him. If only it could membungkus, bungkus around my broken heart... Tears drained from his eyes, running across his cheeks and down his chin. Never had Dick felt so vulnerable, so wounded. He'd fought every type of villain there was on the planet. But never had he felt as sore afterwards as he did at that moment. And it shattered his soul. A knock sounded on his door and his father stepped in to view. Bruce Wayne came to kneel in front of his son. But Dick looked away.
“Talk to me,” Bruce requested.
“I can't,” Dick answered. “Hurts too much.”
Bruce furrowed his eyebrows together in anger. selanjutnya time he ever saw the one who'd hurt his son- if he ever knew- that person would be sorry. But that wasn't his main concern right now. Staring into Dick's wounded blue eyes, Bruce knew his son needed him lebih than anything. So he climbed onto the bed, laying with Dick's back against his chest and a hand desperately hanging on to his large one. Shivers racked Dick's form and Bruce knew his son was sobbing feircly. With his free hand, Bruce wiped at the tears. Dick turned so he was facing his father. The tears still came, but they were calmer and not as big as they had been before.
“What do anda do when the person anda cinta most hurts you?” Dick whispered.
“You push through the pain. The road will be long and difficult. But if the hurt anda on purpose, they don't deserve anything from you. And, oleh the end of that road, you'll find a brand new treasure to love. I promise. One day, you'll find the right love.”
“But what if anda try but just can't get over them? Then what?”
“Then anda confess to them, see how they feel, and go with the flow.”
Dick smiled a little and hugged his father. Bruce brought Dick closer to him, hugging him lovingly.
“Thanks dad. I cinta you.”
“I cinta anda too Dick. I always will.”
“Richie!”
Dick looked up at his friend Donna Troy. She clung to him, hugging him tightly. His other friend Rachel Roth stood close oleh with a smirk on her face.
“Don't strangle him Troy,” Rachel said.
Donna squealed and released Dick, apologizing profusely. Dick cut her off with a laugh.
“Don't worry Don. anda didn't break me.”
Donna giggled and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.
“How are anda today?” she asked. “You've been depressed the past few days.”
“Sorry. Still kind of am, I guess.”
“Do we need to take care of the problem?” Rachel asked.
Donna and Rachel were the only civilians who knew Dick's Robin identity. The only ones who knew almost everything about Young Justice. But that was because they were heroes in their own undercover lives. So if they were offering to “fix” a problem, it usually meant they were looking for a fight.
“No. anda don't need to. The 'problem' won't be heard from in a long while. I quit.”
“Oh, Dick,” Donna sympathized.
“How'd this happen?” ever sensible Rachel asked.
“I caught him with a girl. So I made sure he found me with a girl. Then we started fighting and he-” Dick paused a menit as a group of Jocks walked past. “Then he berkata I was a needy thirteen tahun old whose dad won't let anyone else know I'm n orphan.”
Donna's face showed surprise and hurt. Rachel looked ready to hit someone. Fury burned in her eyes and Dick pulled her aside. Donna followed them, still in shock.
“Don't do anything while we're at school,” Dick warned. “We might- no scratch that. We will get into trouble.”
“Where does he live?” Rachel asked.
“Central. Why?”
“I want to talk with him.”
“Your version of talking atau mine?”
“We'll start with yours. Then go for mine. How should we get his attention?”
“We can always have Robin there,” Donna spoke up. “I'm sure he'll come for that.”
“I don't want to face him,” Robin admitted.
“Don't worry. Don and I won't leave your side. We promise.”
“...”
“Please come with us?”
“Okay. But I'm not responsible for anything that may happen.”
“Duh. Don and I will be. atau maybe I should say Wonder Girl and Raven will be responsible.”
Wally was just speeding around town, berating himself, when he saw it. Robin was in Central. Quickly, Wally sped up the side of the building and onto the roof.
“Dick.”
“Wally West I presume?”
Wally looked at the two women standing close behind Robin; too close for Wally's liking. One he had seen in newspapers. They called her Wonder Girl. The other had been on all kinds of news before. She was known as Raven. Wonder Girl was known to have all the powers of Wonder Woman while Raven was known for her mystic and dark powers.
“Who wants to know?” Wally asked.
“Raven and WG. We heard anda had a predicament with Robin this week.”
“So? It's not your buisness.”
Raven came closer to him, her eyes red and fierce.
“When my friends get hurt I make it my buisness!”
“O-okay. So...what do anda want?”
Raven settled down and took Robin's hand.
“We want to know why anda hurt him.”
Wally stared at his friend. Robin looked down, afraid he might cry.
“You told on me to your hero friends?”
“We go to school with him,” Wonder Girl butted in. “We've seen him depressed before but not like this. anda have some explaining to do.”
“And if I don't?”
“Then I'll set Raven on you. And Robin will not be in favor of helping you.”
Wally looked back to his friend. Would Robin really let this happen? Sure he was mad but would he really want that? Would Robin really allow Wally to get hurt? oleh the way Robin was letting the girls do the talking-and allowing them to touch him-Wally guessed Robin would let anything happen.
“Okay. anda want an answer, fine. I hurt Robin cause...he hurt me first.”
Robin looked up, startled oleh the announcement. Raven put her free hand on Robin's shoulder.
“How did Robin hurt you?” she asked.
“He was never around. And when he was, Zatanna was with him.”
“I didn't want to hurt you,” Robin whispered.
Wonder Girl placed both her hands on Robin's other shoulder, her body getting closer to the Boy Wonder's. They two heroines were protecting him.
“But anda did.”
“When did anda realize anda loved Robin?” Wonder Girl asked.
“A few months after we formed Young Justice.”
“So not very long. I think you've been hurting Robin lebih than anda know.”
“How long have I been hurting him?”
“Five years,” Raven answered.
“What?! Robin? Is-is that true?”
Robin shrugged his shoulders, still looking away. Raven whispered something in his ear and Robin nodded. He looked up, swallowing back any fear he had.
“Good evening Master Robin.”

Eyes of Artemis
Dick’s POV:
He let a small laugh escape through his mouth. He knew it was Artemis and maybe she knew he was Robin. But it was a tiny chance he looked at her, standing in the crowd talking to Rachel a senior year. He smiled. Artemis was in good hands.
Artemis POV:
“Thanks” She putted the papers in her bag. “tomorrow a need them back so don’t forget them.” “Got it.” Artemis answered. Rachel started to talk “Well, let’s start then, We are now in the hall of the Gotham academy.” Artemis looked around, everybody was to their lessons except a few. The hall itself was made of grey, silvery stone. The dinding reflected the blue sky and she thought of the strange boy. “Are anda coming atau not?” Rachel stood in the giant stanchion. “I’m coming.” As she walked to Rachel remembering the mysterious laugh.
