[i]The following article is against Winx Club.If you are a die hard fan of Winx Club that gets butthurt when they find out that there are some people who don't like Winx Club than don't read this article because it certainly isn't for you.[/i] Fair enough lol. That said, the following paragraphs are just stated for discussion and debate. Nothing more nothing less. No butthurt (I promise), in fact there's actually quite a bit of what you wrote that I DO agree with. [i]The Plot Unoriginality It is a fact that Winx Club has a very unoriginal plot.Let me mention the many shoujo manga/animes,books and other cartoons that Winx Club copied.[/i] I can definitely (and I do) agree with you on this in terms of season 5 & 6. I can name 3 things they ripped off in the theme alone in season six, which includes but is not limited to; K-pop band SNSD's dance, K-On, and this other anime (name of it, I do not know). They also stole LotR's moving tree idea. But prior to the lame seasons Winx actually had some pretty neat stuff going on. Coming across a sun fairy as you're taking your pet rabbit for a walk in the park is pretty different. While trolls and goblins and such weren't Iginoi's own creation his designs for them are unique--I can't tell you how many lols the trolls' nipple rings bring me. Omg. Icy, Darcy, and Stormy have also done some rather unique things like the army of decay was original. The fact that they thought Stella was the one with the ultimate power at first was also kind of different. The codex's were pretty unique too. As well as Cloud Tower being a living beating structure. Season three's idea of the willow literally crying because it's sister willow died (thus creating a river that can turn back time) is also unique. Keep in mind that pretty much everything has already been done at least once. Story telling and writing has been around since the thinking man. After centuries and centuries of course there will be a lot of copying. When it comes down to it every show is the same when broken down; ordinary girl finds out she has powers, human dates non-human, average boy gets superpowers, spouse cheats on spouse...the list goes on. Most shows are composed of the same formula it's how structured genres are created. It's very hard to find a [i]truly[/i] unique show. Honestly Avatar The Last Airbender is one of the only truly unique ones...even then it still follows the 'boy finds out he's the only one who can save everyone' theme. When it comes down to it, it isn't about creating a whole new them it's about how you take one of those scaffolds above and mold it into something of your own. Characters are the same way; most every description combination has been used already (ex: blue eyes blonde hair, green eyes brown hair etc). Most personality types have also been used. So again it's what unique features does this character have? What personality quirk is there? Getting more specific pretty much [b]every single[/b] magical girl show I ever watched has the following; a small group of girls (usually one controls fire, one water, etc.) and their powers fit their personalities. In this group there's always a 'tomboy', a 'girly girl', a 'goth', a 'smart one', and 'the leader'. There's always a transformation sequence with some song playing in the background. The villains usually have a single consistent goal. And most of the time with magical girls, the episodes are all rather formulatic; intro with the mains just chillin', a peek at the new bad guy that the protag doesn't know about yet, the danger presents itself, transformation/fight scene, conflict falls, and repeat. And that's where I give Winx kudos because it isn't so formulatic. Sailor Moon, W.i.t.c.h., Winx, the three are often compared because each of them use that same schema. [i]1.Sailor Moon-Bloom is basically a copy of Usagi:Let me point out the obvious similarities between these two characters: -Both are normal girls that live normal lives until there find out they have magic. -Somewhere between the middle of the series it turns out that they both are princesses of a Kingdom that was destroyed by evil forces. -Both of them had family members that gave their lives to save them. -The villains are after their powers because they have the most powerful powers in the universe. Other things that are similar to Sailor Moon: -One of the main characters turns to the dark side(Dark Lady=Dark Bloom) Harry Potter:Well everybody knows that Winx copied Harry Potter with the magical school thing.No need to explain anymore -In season 3 the Trix are similar to the Dark Lovers from Mermaid Melody.In case that you don't know who the Dark Lovers are:The Dark Lovers are a group of 4 water demons who serve the main villain Gaito and also happen to be in love with him and fight for his affection.In season 3 The Trix are also desperate to get Valtor's affection. -The Winx girls enter a book world(the Legendarium world)similar to the plot of Fushigi Yuugi[/i] I'm only gonna do a few of these because I'll get repetitive. -Bloom and Usagi are basically as similar to each other as Usagi is to Will and Will is to Hikaru from (Magic Knights). All of them were ordinary girls who one day find out they have powers. Literally all magical girls (typically) start out this way. It’s one of those genre defining things. I don’t want to sound rude or something but; if you’re gonna hate on Winx for this you should be knocking magical girl shows as a whole because they all do that. -Again, this one also isn’t an uncommon thing. There are so many books/shows in which your average girl finds out she’s a princess. -This is another common theme. In this case Usagi and Harry Potter are one in the same. And both Bloom and Usagi are the same as Katara whose mother died for she and Sokka. -This one is probably the single most common thing found in cartoon villains. They are usually always after the ultimate power. I love, love, love Nerissa, but she and the Trix are the same there—she’s after the heart. Most any magical girl show has this theme. -Like Bloom and Usagi going dark; Zuko from Avatar was coaxed from evil to good and then to evil again by his sister. Regina went from good to bad to good to bad and finally to good again due to the influence of Rumple. Good guys going dark is a common way to create interest in shows. I can name like 50 magical schools; Avalon High, Vampire Academy, Hogwarts, Alfea, Wizard's Hall, Sky High, Alice Academy, Shadow Falls, that one from House Of Night…the list goes on and on. Wiki has a whole list of them. Winx didn’t copy Harry Potter for magical schools—everyone’s copying everyone there. -Villains falling in love with other villains also isn’t uncommon. Bellatrix and Voldy. Harley Quinn and the Joker. Again same formula that pretty much all writers use. -If this is the case all of them are ripping off of The Magic Tree House series. [i]Captain Planet-Its obvious hat Winx copied the whole"anti-pollution"theme of season 5 from Captain Planet[/i] Yeah okay, not even gonna lie. That was just bad. It was what had me just not even finishing season 5. [i]Too much contradictions,plot holes and things that don't even make sense The writers have a bad habit of writing situations that contradict the things that they said in previous season.[/i] Yeah, this one also gets under my skin too. I can’t justify all of it because a lot of it is poor writing. However one reason behind it is that Winx was originally Italian. Some things get lost or changed in translation form Italian to English. Mostly names; such was the case in Sailor Moon—her name was Usagi they made it Serena in English…Chibi Usa became Mini Moon. That’s how it was in Winx as well. However I am very annoyed by how one minute Sparks is a dead and gone lost cause planet and then suddenly rises from the ashes. I hate how Daphne is suddenly a human, that came out of nowhere. More than anything though I am very stingy with the transformations. It was specifically stated that enchantix was the last and now they have like 50 more. >.> Basically some things I can excuse due to the many dubs, some things are so minor I can overlook them, but then there are those bag gaping plot holes that really need a good fill. [i]-In season 1 it is revealed that the Ancestral Witches destroyed Domino than in season 2 it turns out that Lord Darkar was their master and ordered them to destroy Domino than in season 3 it turned out that the witches didn't do it themselves but sent Valtor to do it but in the first movie there is absolutely no mentioning of Lord Darkar and Valtor.WTF?This whole thing doesn't even make sense at all. -In season 1 it is said that Daphne was KILLED by the Ancestral Witches than in season 5 it turns out that she was only cursed by them. [/i] This is the kind of stuff that’s hard to ignore. What I gather from that is that Iginoi plans things season by season and he kind of has this ‘omg that’s a good idea, let’s throw it in’ kind of thing. He didn’t have Darkar or Valtor in the plan at the time, but then when he thought of them he figured it’d be cool to have them have a hand in the destruction. This would be fine had they been foreshadowed. But they were not. It wasn’t even hinted at. Basically it was poor handling. No excuses for that second point, none at all. This is one of those big plot holes I can’t ignore. [i]-In season 1 Faragonda says that Bloom is the last fairy on Earth than in season 4 it turns out that Roxy is the last fairy on earth[/i] This one I don’t think is true. Bloom was never the last fairy on Earth, she wasn’t an Earth fairy at all, they just thought she was. I also don’t recall Faragonda saying she was the last Earth fairy…just that she was one. Even if this wasn’t the case it’s not far-fetched for them to discover that there was more than one Earth fairy. This kind of thing happens in real life; you think there’s only one disaster survivor but then more emerge. [i]If the Dragon flame is the most powerful power in the Universe than why couldn't Bloom's parents defeat the Ancestral Witches with it?[/i] Because then there’s no plot. [i]Why the hell didn't the Trix use such a powerful army as the Army of Decay to attack and destroy a planet?[/i] That’s what they were going for. They started with the schools because that’s where the powerful people were; Stella the princess of Solaria among other royals were sent there. Basically the schools were the heart of the planet they aimed to take. And the people at the schools were the ones most capable of unraveling what they worked for. That said they didn’t want to [i]destroy[/i] Magix nor the universe. They wanted to [i]take over it[/i]. There’s no point in trying to rule something if everyone’s dead. What they aimed to do was take out the forces that were could take them down. And that’s what they sent the Army to do. [i]If Lord Darkar is so powerful than why the hell did he get defeated so easily?[/i] Because the author sucks and hates his antagonists. [i]Why the hell didn't the Wizards of the Black Circle appear in season 1 to kill Bloom who everyone thought was the last fairy on Earth?[/i] See part where I talked about Iginoi’s planning. [i]Why the hell didn't the fairies from the other planets try to help the Earth fairies when they were being captured and imprisoned by Wizards of the Dark Circle?[/i] Politics are a bitch lol? They didn’t want to get involved? I don’t even know, I didn’t even watch season 4. [i]Why doesn't Magix have a school for wizards? [/i] Iginoi is sexist? Again, no clue. There probably is one, we just haven’t seen it? [i]The plot is too much predictable[/i] To a degree I agree, however there were some bits I wasn’t expecting. Like I didn’t think Riven was gonna go completely dark. I didn’t think they were gonna kill Nabu. However I do pin predictability on it being a children’s show. Yes not all children’s shows are gonna be so, but Iginoi really does dumb his show down for a really young audience. I feel like he underestimates his audiences’ ability to comprehend things. [i]There are no plot twists and you can predict pretty much everything that is going to happen next.[/i] -Nabu’s death -Valtor being a creation of the witches’ -Valtor being a monstrous being -The Queen of Downland stealing Brandon -Mirta actually standing up for herself and then becoming a fairy -This one time Icy was using fire -Daphne getting married -Musa and Riven breaking up (I almost typed Sky and Riven lol) -Diaspro being Sky’s fiancé -Brandon and Sky switching names and you find out about the switch in like episode 16 It has its strong points and plot-twists. Whether you think they are good twists or not is up to you. [i]Too much stupid boyfriend drama[/i] My asexual, not-interested-in-men ass thinks pretty much any boy drama in any show is too much. But Winx definitely over does this one. It’s like ‘yo, chill.’ The only neat one was Sky/Diaspro and homewrecker Bloom… Kay, the Trix and Valtor was kind of funny too. [i]2.The characters are one-dimensional and boring Iginio Straffi is terrible when it comes to writing good characters.His characters are one dimensional and there is almost no character development whatsoever [/i] Yeah, no lie here. Epically when it comes to his villains. It gets under my skin. I’ve said it before an I’ll say it again; with characters like the Trix there is so much potential for development and creating crazy-good back stories. And it would be so easy too. He’s just not doing it. And that seems so lazy to me. As someone who is a lover of villains it drives me nuts how much he neglects his antagonists. The Trix have been around for about 5 seasons and we got nothing on them and yet we know Bloom’s favorite food is extra-cheese pizza. Like thinks bro, for the useless information. Could have used that time to give the Trix some background. But nah, he’d rather focus on Bloom. Let’s also not forget how he had some really neat stuff and themes going with Mirta and Lucy but he simply discarded those. I was like ‘no, keep going with that! That was good!’ But he threw those out the window. [i]Bloom-The worst character of the show.She is the self-proclaimed of Winx Club.She is selfish,self-centered,stupid,ungrateful towards her adoptive parents and a cry baby.The plot focuses on her way more than it should too. [/i] Okay, yeah. I wrote a whole article on why I hate her so I’m not gonna dispute this. [i]Stella-The girliest among them.She only thinks about boys,fashion and make up.She is not the smartest either.Stella is an overall super annoying character and I hate her in the first two seasons but they gave her a little development in season She is one of the few characters that has a more detailed story. [/i] She also annoys me as she’s always ripping on the goth fashion and such. She’s kind of a shallow character. However she got better (I think) as the show went on. [i]3.Flora-She actually reminds of the 3 classic Disney princesses Snow White,Cinderella and Aurora.Why?Because just like them,so unrealistically nice and kind that it gets gets on my nerves.Thats basically how her personality is throughout the whole series.She is by far the most boring character in the show.She is also way too much obsessed with nature.One of the many characters who's background story we never get to know.[/i] I also pretty much share this view point too. I don’t really hate her but I don’t like those overly nice and [i]impossibly[/i] friendly characters. But this character trope isn’t just found in Winx. I don’t quite mind her being obsessed with nature as it’s her power. And she actually does have more background than some; like you see that she has a sibling and what not. [i]Musa-The typical tomboy that got eventually turned into an annoying super girly girl like the others in season 4.Not much is known about her background story either expect that her mother died when she was a child.[/i] I freaking died a little when they changed her from spunky and tomboy to heel-wearing and girly. Like can’t I just have one character I can relate to? I like her a lot in season one and I think she’s pretty developed with the story of her mother and how her father wouldn’t let her become a musician after her mom died. However Iginoi promptly started neglecting her for more Bloom after that. [i]Tecna-The only smart girl among them.We know basically nothing about her background story either.[/i] Yeah, okay. Poor Tecna (aside from the Trix) is probably the most underused and appreciated character in the freaking series…and she’s a main! Way to go Iginoi, way to go… [i]The boys:[/i] Are pretty much all one dimensional and follows a ‘pretty-boy’ prince charming trope. And we ain’t got no background on any of them but Sky. [i]Sky-A pathetic brat that is just as annoying as his girlfriend Bloom.He is an irresponsible prince that prefers to follow his girlfriend wherever she goes instead of learning to become a responsible King.He also left his fiancee for Bloom but nonetheless is celebrated as a good guy.[/i] Ah yes, the other half of a whole Sue. He’s your typical prince charming, perfect man, perfect blonde with blue eyes. Such a babe… I don’t like him. He’s just as bad as Bloom. They fit so horribly well. [i]Brandon-The typical playboy.We don't really know anything about his story either,we only know that he is a good friend of Sky and pretended a while to be him in order to keep Sky safe or whatever it was.[/i] Pretty much. I don’t hate him but he is a flat character. [i]Riven-The typical bad boy.The writers never really give a reason why he is such a jerk.[/i] I like him, but again there is not much effort that was put into him. He’s like the Trix. Not gonna do the rest because it’s pretty much the same damn thing. [i]Judging by the short analysis I did above you can see that most of the Winx Club characters don't have any background stories or character development.[/i] Again this is one of my main complaints. Aside from Iginoi’s favorites he doesn’t really put any effort in building his characters. He puts so much focus on like one or two that he doesn’t really give the other characters room to grow. [i]The Trix-3 witches from Cloud Tower who seem to be wild about stealing the Dragon Flame.During 80 %of the series they act more like mean high school girls than real villains.Towards the last 10 episodes their finally show potential when their steal he Dragon Flame and summon the Army of Decay.Season 1 is basically the only season in which the Trix have been above average villains.In the other seasons(expect season 6)they are joke figures that serve and have a crush on the main villain and get their ass constantly kicked by the Winx girls.[/i] This is where most of my disagreement is going to lie. Of course they want the dragon fire, it’s the most powerful thing and they could use it to achieve all they ever wanted. As I said on one of the other polls; I can agree that they just act like bratty high schoolers in seasons 5 & 6, however they are so much more than that in seasons 1-3. They were actually rather cruel and kickass in the first seasons. To some degree they have this highschool thing going on but that’s because (and this another point where Iginoi can’t get his shit straight) they are in high school—they’re seniors. But in some dubs they’re in college??? So I don’t know. Depending on the dub you follow it makes sense for them to have this high school clique thing going on—because that’s essentially what they were in season 1. However that doesn’t make them any less cool, in my opinion. Plus the target age group is at kids and tweens so they’re gonna show antagonists like that, that tweens can understand. They can relate to being bullied as Mirta was. They totally dumbed the Trix down (in seasons 5 &6) and make them just about as prissy as the Winx, and that's a damn shame. But they also dumbed all of the villains down in the latest seasons. Don't watch and base you opinions the newer seasons they're just plain bad...even the fans know that. Pulling from my other comments for this next point; Icy was able to put Sky into 100+ years of sleep...unfortunately that was overshot by the author's uncanny Bloom bais. As I said on the other poll, a lot of the Trix's under-power comes from poor writing and a biased writer. However when he actually gives them their time to shine they're pretty good. Like in the first season they do this pretty neat thing where they project themselves into Bloom's magical reality test and manage to completely shock the system and shut it down. This was a pretty cool plan as they were able to attack and not get attacked; they were able to physically hurt Bloom but they themselves were just astral projections of themselves. They were also able to summon this being that feeds on nightmares. Each time it created a nightmare for the Winx it played on their fears and grew more powerful. Icy's version of the Dragon Fire was also pretty kickass--with it she single-handedly toppled Red Fountain. I'm also gonna bring back the author bias. I'm like 99% sure he hates the Trix and deliberately sets them up to fail. For example in season 5 (episode: The Lilo) they were about to win and legit, (along side the Winx) the whole town goes up against them. At this point it's just truly painful to watch. Another good example is when the Trix had all of the Winx and Specialists taken down and then that Avalon dude comes in and saves them all last minute. There was also a bunch of times when it was Icy vs 3 or all 6 of the Winx at once. Basically the numbers are always unfair or there are these ridiculous last minute saves. I don't think it's the Trix being not powerful so much as it is a partial author. The fact that they are always kicked down by the Winx is because Ignioi favors them and wont’ do anything but ‘good guys always win’. Also I will tell you with 100% certainty that they are still pretty much jokes in season 6. That’s why I stopped watching the show. Really I like to forget that it even happened and pretend like Winx ended at season 3. [i]Lord Darkar-A lame and pathetic villain that is supposed to be the personification of evil(more like the personification of stupidity).He(just like the main villains in Sailor Moon)sends the Trix to do his work for him instead of getting his lazy ass up.He has some rather stupid plans like turning Bloom into Dark Bloom instead of just taking her fucking powers for himself.Even though he is supposed to be one the most powerful creatures in the Universe he is quite easily defeated by the Winx girls.He also has the ability to turn into a phoenix(that doesn't even look like a real phoenix)This clearly proves that Iginio has no knowledge about mythology.In mythology a phoenix is supposed to be an immortal bird that it entirely made of fire.So if make a villain that can turn into a phoenix,this villain has to be IMMORTAL which Darkar clearly isn't.[/i] I didn’t really care for him either. He pretty much just sat on his ass and let the Trix do everything for him. However his concept was interesting…the execution of his character was simply less than pleasing. So with him it was just more poor writing. Good idea, good concept, kind of a let down. [i]Valtor-One of the few good Winx Club villains.He is a really powerful wizard,a manipulative villain,has the powers to turn people into his slaves putting his mark on them and defeated the Winx girls many times.The only stupid thing is that he was easily defeated in the end[/i] I do like him. He was well thought out and well executed. While yes he had the Trix do a lot of the dirty work, he also got up and did things for himself. He actually ah some background too. I liked Valtor it was a shame that they pulled that Water Star crap…it was a cheap cop out. [i]Wizards of the Black Circle-These villains actually used to be better in the past when they managed to capture and imprison almost every fairy on Earth,stole their magic and cut off their wings.As current villains their were really powerful until the Winx earned their Believix and eventually defeated them.Their leader Ogron still deserves credit for coming up with a good plan to trick Morganna into putting the black circle in her finger which opened a vortex that almost sucked all the Earth fairies.Overall I think they are above average villains.[/i] Also pulling from my last comment; The Wizards are pretty cool too, they did some nifty things. However, just what you said they were pretty much pathetic when the Winx earned Beleivix. This is just another big sparkling example of Ignioi simply not liking his villains and amping up his protagonists to an unfair level. [i]Tritannus[/i] Screw Tritannus. He’s just a little boy throwing a tantrum because he couldn’t get into the magical girl convention. [i]Selina-She used to be Bloom's friend but than turned evil.She can use the Legendarium a book that has the power to make myths come true after they have been rad by someone.She wants to free Acheron from the Legendarium because he promised her power.She is the typical villain that is evil because she has been manipulated all along by the main villain.In the end she turns good again[/i] I think Selina’s alright. She has a better background and did some neat stuff, however both Acheron and the Trix had her on a leash which kind of belittles her. But at least she had some development. [i]Acheron[/i] Also screw Acheron. We don’t like him either. To sum up; I agree but disagree with this article depending on the point being made.

lovebaltor ^ 10/10 //clap clap clap The only other problem I have with this article is your title. Overrated, is something over-hyped--at least in my book. Even urbandictionary says that it's anything, "given too much credit and hype". Personally, I've never thought that Winx could ever fit into this category. The show had a [b]huge[/b] following back in like, 2004-2005 when 4kids still owned the rights to dub it and help pump out merch, but once they lost their license, it completely vanished off the market until Nick came along to revive it. I also heard that before the airing of season six, the last couple of audience views for the final episodes of season five [i]decreased[/i] when compared to the beginning. Considering this, Winx isn't really that hyped up. And no one (at least that I've known of) has given it these umpteenth credits as being completely original and unique with what it's doing. Like zanhar1 mentioned a lot of shows have stuck with the same formula that Wnx Club has. It's nothing we haven't seen before, it's just the slight differences that help it stick out in the minds of those who happened to watch it. Tbh if there's anything Winx is based off of that is overrated, it would be Sailor Moon--to me, at least, since anime fans seem to put it unto this untouchable god-tier pedastle, despite it having a lot of issues.

zanhar1 ^ Those are some good points too. Winx really isn't--by definition--overrated. The fans don't really hype it up, I don't really know anyone in real life who likes/liked Winx. And honestly a lot of fans have actually been...not to fond of the show lately. As far as I know a lot of Winx fans actually do criticize the show.

"I also heard that before the airing of season six, the last couple of audience views for the final episodes of season five decreased when compared to the beginning. Considering this, Winx isn't really that hyped up." Funnily enough the same thing happened to the last 2 seasons of Sailor Moon but it still doesn't change the fact that Sailor Moon is an overrated anime. But I actually quite agree with you that Sailor Moon is an overrated show.I admit that Sailor Moon is a much better magical girl anime than Wedding Peach,Tokyo Mew Mew,Mermaid Melody and Pretty Cure but it is still bad compared to Revolutionary Girl Utena,Magic Knight Rayearth and Pretear.The thing that bothers me about it is that most people always say that it was the first magical girl anime that was created even though it isn't..Sally the WItch was the first magical girl anime that was created in 1966 and was soon followed by others magical girl animes like Majokko Megu-chan,Cutie Honey,Minky Momo,Creamy Mami and Devil Hunter Yohko.The Sailor Moon manga was actually good but the anime was average.My biggest issue with the Sailor Moon anime is that every episode and season has a repetitive plot and the number of the filler episodes is so big that you can remove more than half of them and the story would still make sense.

They're going to choose what they're familiar with, and even if they overexagerate how strong the girls might be as a team, how can you blame them? They've probably never even heard of any of those animes. That's the real only issue I have with how you see the show as overrated. Really? However my big point there was that there are a bunch of characters who are very similar. For example Sirius Black (HP) and Jacob Black (Twilight) both have the last name Black, both are hugely connected in some way to the main, both can take on a second form Jacob a big black wolf and Sirius a big black wolf-like dog. Black Star and Naruto are both kind of outcasts they have similar hair styles and similar personalities. Lust and Asami; they look so much alike there were rumors that Asami was drawn based on Lust. Basically Winx is definitely not the only show that ever had characters so similar to another they seem like carbon copies. It's just a fact of literature, the curse of having centuries of media already before you but a need to keep putting out new material. It's simply inevitable. There's no denying that Bloom and Usagi are very similar to each other in many ways. But they are definitely not the only look-alike, act-alike pairs. And they've also got their differences. Usagi's powers (and forgive any errors, I haven't watched SM in ages) are moon based, Bloom's are fire. Usagi (in the beginning) seemed more lazy and reluctant to embrace her powers whereas Bloom longed to embrace then and learn more. Which leads back to my point that; with so many shows/books created it isn't about finding a story line that's completely original, it's about how you take those overdone formulas and turn them into something new. It was those few that invaded the Winx spot and expected everyone to know and love FT. And they were so quick to scream bias when FT wasn't picked over Winx. They would actually treat the Winx fans very rudely. And the Winx fans didn't get butthurt until they were railed up past the breaking point. You weren't here when this whole thing started so I should probably inform you that it's been going on for months now and that's probably why lovebaltor seems so fed up. And really can you blame her? See that's the thing though. These people have been posting their vs stuff on the Winx fan club. There is literally no obligation whatsoever to do any research. zanhar1 That's probably because a lot of the people in the fandom are just kids. There are some fans who liked it from the beginning that are at least 20 something; these are the people who tend to give a more factual and less 'no reals only feels' debate.

KiraStar I, myself, have honestly lost my interest in the show. I remember when the show actually had some good qualities to it. I must admit though, I prefer the 4kids Winx over all of the others. I especially after with you on the whole not drama part. It feels that the show is 80% boyfriend focused and 20% saving the world. I remember watching a video where Helia overreacts when Flora tells him that he had to be gentle with a certain plant. Then afterwards she apologized for making him feel like he did something wrong? What? Flora was never mad at him and didn't sound at all upset. He was the one who took it the wrong way. Why is the girl being the one to apologize? I use to like Wind but now it just feels boring and tasteless to me. What happened to all the good shows? Why are they all getting replaced by boring overused shows? The Winx franchise has been going on for a very long time. I feel that they just have to finally let it die out. Then maybe revisit it in a new time and come back with some thing fresh.
