During the time of constant war and conflict between countries, the U.S. government was working on a secret bioweapon, one that they had hoped to keep secret and use as a tactic for warfare, in the hopes of controlling not just the art of war, but mother nature itself: The Eden Virus. For a time, the virus was kept under control. But they were not satisfied with the results. They needed something more. Live subjects. They began to test this new disease on death row inmates, and later, used it on some people in third world countries, to see the different results of the Eden Virus. But, they were not able to keep it contained forever. Little information was known, and they did not know that the virus could spread through the air. Slowly, but surely, small villages in those countries became infected, and later major cities, and then neighboring countries, and more from there. With the outcry of the virus spreading across the media and amongst society, the terrorist group, Cicada, decided to prove to the country of the government’s involvement with the virus. Photos were taken of their testing on small countries, and was released through the media by hijacking the news studio. Enraged, the citizens of the world revolted against their government. It wasn’t long before some countries governments refused to aid citizens or even saw them as threats that needed to be executed. Hoping for some redemption, the government began a new project, the Adam and Eve Project. Over two hundred subjects were taken into labs, in the hopes of creating an immunity to the Eden Virus. Of the two hundred subjects, only sixty were able to survive the testing. An immunity was created in their genes. But, there was no time for the government to use the immunity, as they were already doomed to suffer the viruses fate, and had no time to create another cure. In a last ditch effort to save humanity, the subjects had their memories wiped of the testing, and were placed into a cryogenic sleep and planned to wake up in a hundred years, in hopes that the Eden Virus would die off, and humanity would start anew. The following day, those left in the government were infected. An unknown number of time has passed, and the subjects have awoken to the sight of their lab, covered in grass and vines, and the world that was once filled with humans is now barren and covered in plants, and those that were once human now resemble and behave like monsters. Government outposts have been set up across the world, refusing to aid anyone outside its walls, and those that have managed to live on throughout the years wear gas masks at all times and cannot breathe the polluted air, or risk becoming infected with the virus.

Notes
-Everything that is infected is a plant. Including animals, so be careful around them
-Supplies, like food and ammo, is limited. You must take what you can get
-Unless you are a government official, you are not allowed to be near the outposts or seen, or you will be shot on sight
-Eden Carriers are more common during the day, but Bandits come out at night
-If you are a Subject, you don’t need a mask. But you will not be trusted by either citizens or government
-If you are a citizen, you are to always wear a mask when in infected areas, but are more experienced in survival
-Cicada members have different weapons and are always in groups, but hunted by government, even outside of government outposts. Citizen’s have differentiating opinions of them
-You will have to make difficult choices, and this RP is not for those who can’t handle graphic and psychological material
