I recently found out why Hino ended this series so early and kind of mess up way. Apparently Sales been dropping ever since the start of the detik arc eventually caused the magazine La La to force Hino into cutting her ending, apparently even twice. As a result, Hino even publically apologized to her readers in her blog for the ending being as rushed as it was, being sorry she wasn't able to tell the full story she wanted.
