She's from America. Says so all throughout the book "Blood Promise". Just on page 79 it says "[If] the Alchemists won;t send me back to the U.S. after this." She talks about growing up in her family somewhere else too! Sorry. I know that's kinda vague, but I don't really feel up to sitting in front of a book looking for one line all night long. Lazy me, I know.
