If human Bella is pale skinned, why is she such a sun worshipper?

I know it's a really petty point, but it bugged me last time I read the series.

Bella is described as being so pale that she can make jokes about being part albino. I'm guessing this is meant to be just one of the indicators that she's meant to be a vampire. However, she claims that the sun will be one of the main things she'll miss when she moves from Phoenix, and she acts like a sun worshipper. Take it from someone who is pale: fair skin makes anda sun paranoid, unless anda actually like burning.

I think Bella is, like I am myself, someone who doesn't tan but who doesn't burn, either. Her skin just doesn't change in the sun, like mine does so I know this is possible. She'll miss the sun when she moves away from Phoenix because she simply loves the warmth and the light and just the sun and in Forks, it's most of the days cloudy and rainy without any sun :) The fact that she simply doesn't change in the sun has nothing to do with her loving the sun. I cinta it, too

I am pale skinned as well and I donn't burn in the sun :) But I do get some freckles ;)
