Sky doesn't have any powers, whereas Mamo has the Legendary Golden Crystal to use as a source of attacks and even healing himself. He's also skilled at fighting because even when he couldn't remember he was the prince of earth, he could still hold his own when fighting the monsters in the show and saves and assists Sailor Moon plenty of times throughout the story. I like that he's also not the completely buff dude that can always save his girlfriend, because Usagi winds up saving Mamo a lot, more later on in the story.

Also dude is a king of a super powerful kingdom in the future and can kick major booty so sorry gary-stu-errific

he constantly uses over head swings and doesn't ever carry a freaking shield, what sort of knight at want to remain alive doesn't carry a shield??
a single body shot when he raises his sword for a overhead would disarm/kill/cripple him?
