Do anda think there are survivors who are immune to the infection?
The infection is some what like other viruses and throughout history there have been lots of people immune to life threatening viruses (bubonic plague ect.) so is it plausible that some survivors are immune to it in The Walking Dead?
No I don't think so......be it a fictional tv tampil I think they try to keep it as realistic as possible. Perhaps there could be though so don't hold me true to my answer. Maybe near the end of the series [wince] there might be someone with an ammunity who creates a vaccine to make others immune. The possibilities are endless with this tampil xD
I think that there are survivors immune to the infection. As anda said, there have been immunities in the past, and we have focused mainly on getting away from human enemies, and the walkers. I think it would also make a very good plot if somehow someone (baby Judith, for example? She was born after the outbreak which leads me to believe there's a possibility of her being immune) was immune.
In all honesty, I don't think it's very realistic to be immune, especially to a virus that is airborne. If they did that it would become a tampil like the BBC tampil Survivors and I don't think that's the best route to go down :)
I don't think they are immune but I do think they have a strong resistant to the virus because they been out there for so long. Their immune system probably knows how to slow down the process of them turning when they get bitten so they won't die and turn so soon. For example, remember how quickly Amy and Shane turned, but it took a while for Bob to turn and Hershel just kicked the diseases pantat, keledai after they cut off his leg. But I hope Judith is immune to the disease though.
