I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Chris Wood: ‘Vampire Diaries’ & ‘Carrie Diaries’ bintang Cast In ‘Cordon’ Pilot | Variety
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
The CW, known to bring back previous players, has cast its first pilot for the 2015-16 cycle,
Chris Wood, who had substantial arcs in both in Julie Plec’s “Vampire Diaries” and the CW’s “Carrie Diaries,” is set for the role of Jake, a former renegade turned cop, in Plec’s upcoming drama “Cordon.”
The series follows an epidemic that breaks out in Atlanta, leaving the large city quarantined and those stuck on the inside fighting for their lives. The drama tells the story of loved ones torn apart, and how the society that grows inside the cordon reveals both the devolution of humanity and the birth of unlikely heroes.
Jake (Wood) is among those trapped inside the cordon, and finds himself there to protect the ones who need him most, even though his first instinct is to save himself.
David Gyasi (“Interstellar”) will play Lex, Jake’s best friend. Also rounding out the cast are Christina Moses (“Starship: Rising,” “Starship: Apocalypse”) and Kristen Gutoskie (“Beaver Falls”),
“Cordon” comes from “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals” showrunner Plec, and is based on the original Belgian series created by Carl Joos for Eyeworks. David Nutter will direct the pilot and will exec produce with Plec, who penned the pilot. Eyeworks, My So-Called Company and Warner Bros. Television will produce.

Sounds awesome. He’s a great actor and deserves his own show, although i really like his character on vd and this means he prob won’t be on it much longer.
I don’t suppose Americans could just enjoy the original Belgian series (with subtitles), which was very good …
I highly doubt this will be a success. They would have to pull some cw tv shows, or put it on during the summer. if they want, instead of iZombie, which is the most sickening thing I”ve ever seen (commercials), they can replace iZombie with Cordon. I don’t want to see either, but if I had to choose, it would be Cordon.
