How do anda picture Ponyboy before anda saw the movie??? (when anda read the book)

I saw him with an average height medium build, auburn hair really green, bright eyes and i could hear the cute southern accent. I cinta that book so much.

I first read the book when I was 10, so most of what was in it was too over my head and I just thought it was one of those buku anda read and forget about. I didn't understand the powerful messages in it. A couple years yang lalu I saw the movie for the first time, and loved it! I went searching around for the book so I could read it again and just fell in cinta with both book and movie. Some of the characters in the movie look different from what the book says, but since I saw the movie those characters were all I pictured when I read the book. I try to picture them the way S.E. Hinton wanted them to look, but it is hard and all I could picture were the characers from the movie. But I bet the Ponyboy anda pictured really is a hottie!

I'm not sure. Nowhere near as cute as the movie Ponyboy, that's for sure! But I envisioned a cute little auburn-haired kid who had green eyes. Kinda looked like a combination of the biggest person on the cover of the novel (who I assume is Ponyboy) and his actor.
