I wish I knew the answer to this question but I am here only to make it more weird! The same Chinese actor is in the background of every scene in Luke's Diner in every episode of Gilmore Girls from the 2nd season or so on. It is driving me crazy! As you say, this guy is also in the background in the squad room of The Closer. It's not just occasionally; from his first appearance, he is featured in every shot in the background. I've actually been watching these two shows in order to find out who he is. But no dice. Why do they do this? Who is he? How many other t.v. shows has he been in?
