Spuffy Pertanyaan

I am confused. I am wondering in the last episode of season 7, buffy told spike that she loved him, and he berkata "No anda don't, butthanks for saying it", did she mean it, and if she did, why did he say that? Was it maybe to let him die easier,

I truly believe that the light/fire from their hands touching is actually their souls touching. Buffy sees Spike and she sees herself so clearly in that moment. And she can finally tell him how she feels because she finally understands it. The tone of voice, the hint of hesitation when she says it is her fear knowing that it can't change anything for them. She waits until the last possible detik to leave him because she'll never be ready to be without him. I think the fact that her last word is "Spike" and that we see her smile at the end shows that she was thinking of him that whole time. Thinking about his life and his sacrifice and knowing for sure that she loved him and was right to keep him around. Buffy's beaming with pride at the thought that Spike was the key to saving the world. I won't say any lebih at the moment because I need to sleep!

i beleive she truly did cinta spike...but the fact that she probably was going to tell him thinking he wasn't going to die that day...and when she saw that he was going to die she berkata it cause she wanted him to know before he died and he probably berkata "no anda don't" cause he thoguht she only berkata it cause he was going to die.

Actually what I understand from the interviews of the cast and crew. Joss wants to makes things difficult for the relationship between Buffy & Spike, I mean Buffy does truely cinta Spike the same way she loves Angel. It all became so twisted and confusion between the characters. However what, I watched from Sarah's view on the interview of the final episode of Season 7 saying that her character does still cinta malaikat and she cares for Spike a loyal companion for her.

I know it sounds so unfair for Buffy & Spike. But Sarah does want her fan to understand what she understand on the show. She did in fact made a wonderful quote:The thing about Buffy and Spike is that they understand each other in a way that nobody else understands her. They've both lived a hundred lives. And I think we'll see over the selanjutnya couple of years she'll learn that he's someone who she can trust, who is a companion to her... (Sarah Michelle Gellar).

(Okay, hmm, as I tell on another topic, I'm French, and I don't really speak english, but I try to learn. I think it's an interesting question, so I would try to answer. But sorry for my bad english).

From my point of view, I think that Spike expected nothing from her. During all season 7, I think he placed himself as a 'defeatist' (it's not really what I mean, but I don't find another word) towards his relationship with Buffy. He doesn't believe in himself, but Buffy shows him otherwise. *She* believes in him, and she's right :) She gives him the faith to continue, because she knows and she feels that he could be better. But, initially, he doesn't expected that from her.
When she dates with Wood, he suffers, but let herself doing her own choices, and try to tampil her that "It's okay". He's 'defeatist' towards his relationship with Buffy, again. At the end of this episode, he's ready to go away, but she doesn't want to. When she says to him that she's not ready for he to not be here, he's surprised. He still doesn't understand she needs him for another reason (not just the fight), until she berkata that to him.

In this season, Spike is present for her, supports her, understands her, looks after her -and vice versa. As he berkata in Touched, he's in cinta with her, but he doesn't expect anything from her.

I think it's the reason why he doesn't believe her when she says to him "I cinta you".

Besides, I think that Buffy was really in cinta with Spike. From my point of view, season 6 was the basis of her feelings for him, but the context was too difficult. Season 7 was the opportunity to developp their relationship, their feelings for each other, and it permits that she finally accepts her feelings for him and her cinta for him. This declaration is the result of two seasons where her feelings for him grow. It's real, it's a true love. It's strong and beautiful. Because they know each other, they understand each other, and they're connected to each other.
It's too bad that he doesn't understood that, and doesn't believed her... Because she was sincere. Sometimes, anda really realize the importance of a person when anda are about to lose. I think she knows that she had strong feelings (of love) for him, but she really realizes when Spike comes to die.

(Again, I'm sorry for my bad english !)

I think she meant it and I can't imagine Buffy declairing her cinta to someone she doesn't actually love. Also in the End of Days she admitted to be tired of mixed signals and she wanted to talk to Spike about their relationship, to start it all over, to tell him how she felt. But he stopped her and they decided to talk later. I believe he stopped her because he was scared (and in fact he admitted to be scared), afraid that for true she doesn't cinta him back. And when he was dying, Buffy realized that they don't have "later". They only had that moment. And of course she needed to tell him how she felt.

But I do understand where Spike was coming from with "No, anda don't". He was obviously still insecure ("I'm terrified" as he berkata in End of Days), he needed time to realize what's going on between them, but his time was up and the only thing he could do was to thank Buffy for ILY, because while she would never lie to him (she meant what she said), he would never lie to her to. He wouldn't lie that he believes her when he doesn't. I think this moment showed how honest they are with each other about their feelings.
