Moonlight glittered coldly on the forest clearing. Skypaw heard something snap, and he whipped around.
The black cat looked surprised to see him too. "What are anda doing here?" he growled.
"I could ask anda the same thing." retorted Skypaw defiantly.
The black cat sighed. "That rubah, fox has gotten too close to camp. I'm going to try and stop it."
Skypaw gasped in horror. "But it'll kill you!" he mewed. "What will we do without you, Shadowheart?"
"You can cope." growled Shadowheart. "You have Tigerheart, Ivywhisker, and your littermates."...
