Why do anda think this is?

Alright, so anda know when someone loses a loved one atau has some other misfortune befall on them others will say "I will pray for you" atau "they're in a better place"? Well I have seen some people actually get mad when people say these things. Now I get that those people don't believe in religion, of course, and that's fine, everyone should believe, and not believe, in whatever they want. What I don't get is why they get so angry over someone trying to comfort them in their own way. Why do anda think that is?

Because people tend to get offended oleh everything. They focus lebih on the words than the motives, especially if it conflicts with their beliefs.
I've gotten through that weird religion hating phase (but I guess hate is a strong word here, just generally not liking it).

-I guess some people feel this way because if anda accept sympathy, then anda must acknowledge that anda have a loss. So if anda want to be in denial, sympathy is the last thing anda want to accept.
- Sympathy can feel like pity and nobody wants to be pitied.

Mainly because many people choose to be offended oleh almost anything.

But in their defense, the only reason why I'd imagine they'd get mad at that response is because they're not in a stable place of mind, they lost someone they loved and some people get angry and hostile while they're grieving, others are lebih passive and quiet.

But if they do react that way, just leave it be and give them space. Grief can change people so wait for them to handle it in their time.
