Yes. It hasn't been progressing as fast as it should, because all the "genius" scientists are too busy arguing about whether macroevolution atau creationism is true. We could have jetpacks right now if people could accept that not everybody's going to agree with them. Where is my flying car?!?

I agree. We should have flying cars and jetpacks oleh now.
^ Like, who cares? No offense, but why is it necessary to have flying cars? We haven't even figured what we're gonna use to fuel regular cars, when petrol eventually does run out. If we were smarter with technology, we would be able to make resources last longer and we could actuallu sustain our planet and futures much better than the way we're heading right now.
Eh..... Probably with how obsessed everyone has become with it.
Im not one to talk really being I spend all my life.... well here, but when I do go out with my friends (like once a tahun XD) its not really boosting my morale to go out with friends again when everyone is going on their phones XD
Thats why now if anda ever see me spending a weekend, summer/winter time vacation, atau any afterschool hours its for a school activity atau project. anda can force people to put their focus off of their phones.
*is the type of person who is on her phone atau laptop if the meet is not formal (ie lunch time, nutrition/break)*

Oh and how reliant everyone is on it. Like with how much information is stored and the need for a cari engine and all. Im charged with the crime of this as well though XD
1. People can't socialize as well because their eyes are glued to a screen. 2. Technology is progressing slower than it could. anda would think that we would have jet packs, flying cars, technology to make childbirth less painful atau painless, technology that can prevent and cure diseases like cancer, diabetes, and arthritis, etc. oleh now. 3. There are so many glitches and bugs, not to mention computer viruses.
I have to buy lebih every time one breaks atau gets ruined.cars,light balls, computers,etc. anda name it everything needs fixing. I also hate the food that gets stuck on it, making it rather sticky.
This could turn into an essay, so I'm gonna keep it short. To be frank, technology is a farce, a scam. Why? Because it's just corporations finding lebih ways to make billions and secure their way to the highest echelon. Certain technology seems absolutely pointless to me. And what is this bollocks about flying cars and whatnot? How is that important? We should be focusing on technology that can actually benefit our planet, in order to benefit ourselves. Apparently it is incomprehensible to most people that, if anda take care of the planet that holds all our resources, it would ACTUALLY benefit us, too.
I use minimal technology. I own a TV, cellphone, laptop and car. I don't even use my TV. My cellphone is used for calling people and maybe the internet if I can't be bothered my computer on. Otherwise, I have no use for anything too fancy. We definitely don't need everything we have, we just want it; because, as Jame Rachels would philosophise, humans always want more... we're over-consumers.
The thing I dislike most about technology is how people use it. We have the potential to do so many great things but because of money and other things we are halting our progress. We probably have the technology to do alot of things (economically and environmentally safe) and others but unfortunately our progress is just halted.
Yes there are many things I don't like about technology - but the biggest problem I have with it is that many people use it for evil instead of for good.
Computers, the internet, etc. - we don't have laws set up to prevent the bullying, viruses, and other problems people try to cause for others - for money atau just to be nasty.
Advances in medicine - people contribute so much money for finding cures for thins - I sometimes wonder if they have already got cures - they just are not passing the information along. Also, many of the drugs - unless they cost quite a bit, the drug companies do not want to produce them. They look at what they can get not how they can help.
food preservatives, hormones added to food, etc. We do not know where this is leading. Also, even though some of it does appear on the labels, there is still a lot that is not mentioned. I know several years yang lalu - when ikan hormones were added to potatoes, there was a push to have that mentioned on the the potato bags - but the government ruled against it. There is such an increase in allergies - I wonder why they don't insist that this information be diberikan to the public.
Anyway, as others have berkata before - I could write an essay on this.
